There was a lot packed in six nights

There was a lot packed in six nights. I would say ten different events. And everyone went off flawlessly, and all different people. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave, you are in great hands. And I did a middle-of-the-road tour and hotels, which, to me, were all 5-star. I could only imagine what the a deluxe tour would be like.

Excellent travel company

I did not have the time or knowledge to figure out how to go about visiting Machu Picchu and Cusco. Maria at Inca Expert Travel was a tremendous help. I told her the number of days we had and she put together a wonderful itinerary including private guides, hotels, transportation and exciting tours all at a reasonable price. If I had any questions or concerns Maria was available on the phone. I highly recommend Inca Expert Travel.

Great experience and maybe kind of necessary?

My partner and I knew we wanted to see Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley and the Amazon rainforest in a short amount of time but couldn't figure out the logistics (primarily of traveling to each place). We ended up booking through Inca Travel and they not only saved us with those details but improved our overall experience and worked with our budget. We felt the agency had incredible recommendations as well for lodging, etc. We are so happy with our experience. Using a travel agency made it so that we could see as much as possible in a short amount of time and didn't waste any time with logistics when we were there because it was fully laid out. I recommend it for this and Inca Expert was the best. Grecia was our travel advisor. Grecia we felt went out of her way to make sure we had the best itinerary. We felt she always had our best interest at heart and was patient, attentive and responsive to every detail of our hopes and desires for the trip. I think certain tickets especially at Machu/Huayna Picchu we would not have been able to secure without her. She was also very helpful in moving the budget around as needed. Ellie and Mariana met us as we arrived in new places and re-iterated our plans---we never felt like we weren't well looked after or lost. Peter and Juan Carlos were our guides at Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain respectively and they were great! We had Ivan as our guide for a full day in the Sacred Valley as well as a Cusco tour, we adored him. My partner and I could sense his passion for the history and culture he was teaching us and we felt we received an in depth and up-to-date lesson of both the ancient Cusco region and contemporary society there. Richard picked us up after waiting for a two hour train delay and was kind to entertain practicing my limited Spanish on our additional two hour drive. Percy, David, Joel and Fabio were also some of the drivers who met us. Driving in Peru is a special skill and can't go overlooked. The travel agency makes it easy to contact them if needed during the trip. We are so grateful for the entire team's hospitality and expertise. We felt like the standard for welcoming us was incredibly high and did not go unnoticed. We will recommend and use again in the future!

Perfect Planning and Execution of trip to Peru!

Thank you very much for all you did to make me have a fantastic trip to Peru! Below is my full review of my experience. I was originally booking with a tour company that I had traveled with before so I knew what I’d be getting and trusted that. They other company was not responsive to me emails and they were non committal to my phone calls when I started my inquire. To be fair to them, I tried to book this trip a week before leaving as a last minute solo travel getaway. When I realized that they were hesitant I searched for another booking company. I Google searched and found Inca Expert Travel online. I inquired and Leila Dancuart responded right away. She was extremely responsive and answered every question I had. Leila and I worked together and she put an itinerary together for me within a few short days that was PERFECT! I chose the five-star package. As a lifelong, high-end traveler, I knew exactly what to expect with that. I was taking this trip for a much needed break and I fully trusted Leila and her team with the plans she made for me. I turned it over to her and did no research myself. I turned up at the airport and was collected on the other end in Lima, Peru. Little did I know that I was in for the best time and one of the most amazing adventures of my life! The tour guides were AMAZING! Every one of them was perfect! They knew the Incan and Spanish histories so well and always had answers to my questions. I learned so much from every one of them! I saw amazing sites and got great insights to each place we visited! As a well seasoned traveler, I know exactly what to expect at 5 star hotels. I absolutely loved the Belmond hotels I stayed at! I was disappointed with the hotel I stayed at in Macchu Pichu as it was not a 5 star, however it was only one night so it was okay. I wish I would’ve been at the Sanctuary at the entrance of Macchu Pichu instead. It would’ve saved a lot of time as the lines for the bus to MP were very long and took up a lot of time on both ends, getting to and leaving from the area . I also suggested to Leila that I would’ve preferred a different train carrier to and from MP. She said, after the fact, that there would’ve been an upcharge for that. So my only constructive feedback for this trip would be to give your travelers the option of having a full 5 star experience if they are paying for it so the expectations don’t fall short. I would still give this trip a 10/10 for all the other things that made up for the shortcomings of the train and hotel at Macchu Pichu; Leila’s attentiveness to detail, quick responses, the tour guides, drivers and the rest of my stay. I told her I wanted every detail taken care of from the minute I landed to the minute I left. And it was. And I will forever be grateful for the wonderful trip I had and the memories I will always have. I would recommend Leila Dancuart and Inca Expert Travel without hesitation to my family and friends when booking a trip there! Thank you, Leila and thank you Inca Expert Travelers! Christy D I made it to the top of Wayna Pichu! A 60th birthday present trip to myself!

A Stellar Trek to Choquequirao

Maximiliano Taylor is a terrific travel advisor - he listened to my interest in a trek that would take me to a remote archeological site few travelers visited that would be a counterpoint to Machu Picchu - which I would be visiting by way of the Salkantay Trek a week earlier. Max recommended a five-day trek to Choquequirao ("Cradle of Gold") - an amazing complex similar to (although much smaller than) Machu Picchu. Choquequirao comprises extensive - and incredible - agricultural terraces (with 24 white rock llamas embedded in the face of one set of the terraces), ceremonial and astronomical sites (Ushnu and the Wall of Triumph), storage buildings (colcas), elite residences and common dormitories (callancas), and an intricate aqueduct and water distribution system. Its remote location doesn’t make it as famous as Machu Picchu, but its structures are amazing in their own right and the views are unparalleled. Rather than Machu Picchu's 4,500 daily visitors, Choquequirao had but 30 trekkers the day our group arrived. This was a magical, intimate, and reflective experience. A credit to Max - a perfect counterpoint to Machu Picchu. In addition to the Choquequirao trek, Max also arranged a tour of an area of the Sacred Valley I had not visited - Pisac, an archeological site at the southern end of the Sacred Valley including terraces, aqueducts, roads associated with walls and gates, channeled watercourses, burial sites embedded in the mountainsides, bridges and other structures. The high point of this tour was Carlos Castillo, the guide Max arranged to accompany me on this tour. His personality, historical and cultural knowledge, insights, and inquisitiveness made this an incredible experience. Made all the more amazing due to the fact we were able to spend several hours walking the entire site.

Wonderful trip to Peru thanks to Inca expert travel

Inca expert travel made our first trip to Peru so easy and wonderful! I really appreciate the flexibility and professionalism of Inca Expert travel. With only one week of advance notice, Maria from Inca Expert Travel worked with me to understand what my interests and prefers are and and put together this awesome itinerary that we greatly enjoyed. Each activity and hotel they have arranged is great quality. Some of the tours, due to short notice was group tour, but with no more than five people it was just as enjoyable as private tour. All the tour guides were super nice, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing us all the beautiful things of Peru.

Inca Experts and Silva Rincon

Inca Experts and, in particular, Silva Rincon were wonderful in planning and supporting our Peru vacation. Patient, knowledgeable, on time, client-centric. We did a Arequipa (Colca Canyon/condors), Sacred Valley/MachPichu and Cusco itinerary. The local guides they used were great and the hotels excellent. Highly Recommended!!
