Inca travel did an outstanding job creating a customized itinerary to meet and exceed my expectations while traveling to Peru. Our guides and drivers were all excellent. Everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable. We were guided every step of the way, we always knew where to go and what to do next, we always felt safe. We stayed at five star hotels at easily accommodated my food allergies. The Vista train to Machu Picchu was excellent. I highly recommend Inka Travel for your next private tour!

Our group of 6 had a semi-custom private tour in September. Visiting Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco and Lima It was a memorable vacation! We highly recommend Silvia Rincon, our travel advisor and Inca Expert for booking Peru. It was a pleasure to work with Silvia, very easy going personality and happy to work with our requests, our time frame and her expert advice came in handy. Working with Inca Expert was a great experience, the whole trip ran smoothly. Everything and everyone was on time from our great drivers to the wonderful tour guides, while traveling they were with us every step of the way. We also had built in some down time to visit and explore the little towns in Sacred Valley on our own. We felt safe and found the locals were helpful and friendly. And the food experience was delicious- we ate well ! We experienced a flight delay out of Cusco, with the language barrier it was hard to communicate but we managed to get on a flight. At the same time we contacted Inca Expert via the 24/7 WhatsApp emergency number and they sent out one their agents to come out to the airport and help us finalize. So- a big thank you for helping us create wonderful memories!

The booking experience with Inca Expert was professional & effective in answering our concerns as this was our first trip to Peru. Eli was very responsive and knowledgeable and very helpful in accomodating our changes for the locations/dates/hotels. We also appreciated being able to get bookings for table at the famous Central & MIL restaurants as part of our itinerary. Those culinary experiences were amazing and very special. We felt well prepared for our trip. Thank you Eli. The hotels that we stayed at were good - though I think it would be better to offer some other options to guests who might have concerns around noise (as we did). My husband & I did have to change our first hotel in Cusco after we found it too noisy for us (part of it was the way the small boutique hotel was setup with rooms facing inner courtyard where you could hear guests talking excitedly in the tables outside of the room). There was also a large group of noisy tourists who checked in when we did, so perhaps we were just unlucky with the timing & location of our room. However, Yahaira on the customer support team was fantastic in helping address our concerns. She called the hotel and organised with them to move us to a more quiet room on the third floor that was away from the stairwell and was more quiet. We also did not enjoy the GHL lago hotel in Lake Titicaca for similar reasons- it was very noisy (because of the other excited guests and walls were thin), while the hotel is very large- somehow all the guests seems to be put into rooms next to each other while there were other rooms down the hall that were not occupied at all. We also were sick when we were at both of these hotels, so the experience probably was negatively amplified because of this. That being said, because we did have altitude sickness and had to go back to Lima to get to lower altitude, Yahaira on the customer support team was a life saver!! I cannot express how much gratitude my husband & I have for Yahaira in how she was so helpful and responsive at all hours of the night, trying to get us the first flight out the next morning and a hotel room in Lima. Thank you Yahaira for everything you’ve done to help us turn the unexpected dire circumstances into something positive through your kindness and support. Similarly the delightful hotel experiences we had were in Aguas Calientes/Machu Picchu at Casa Del Sol. The team were fantastic and we appreciate that upon the request from Yahaira, that they upgraded us to a quiet room facing the river. Alicentes, the general manager and his team of Vanessa, Diana, and Victor were so kind to us and made our stay very memorable. They even went out of their way to help ensure we were met at the station with a porter to take our luggage to the hotel and took us back to the station to ensure we were able to make it through the crowds. We felt very well taken care of and also took a photo of the entire team (review of their hotel is on TripAdvisor). The Aranwa Sacred Valley hotel & staff was also very nice- especially the Colonial room wing that had more cultural characteristics than the modern room we stayed in for the first night. Our visit to the alpaca sanctuary - Arana Cancha was fantastic. We are alpaca enthusiasts and we’re glad to have an opportunity to see how local communities work with alpacas to create beautiful pieces of art and garments the traditional way. The other guides who have also made a lasting impact on us are Juan Carlos who shared his vast knowledge and expertise in Cusco, Moray & Maras and Sacred Valley; and Miguel at Machu Picchu. The knowledge & professionalism and friendship of the guides (and customer support team like Yahira) helped make our Perú experience truly memorable.

We traveled to Peru 10-18 October 2024. Debbie from INCA Expert Travel delivered fully as promised for our trip. She provided useful insight in hotel selection and establishing the itinerary. Every step was well-planned and briefed and a printed schedule and tickets were provided. Every event happened exactly as scheduled and all the INCA Expert Travel personnel we encountered during our trip were helpful, friendly, and professional. I would unreservedly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Peru. When you book something through the internet you sometimes wonder what you will get. Everything Debbie arranged went flawlessly.

There is no way I could have made all of these arrangements myself so last minute without the help of Inca Expert Travel. The personal touch was outstanding. They honestly held my hand the whole way. "No worries" they said. They couldn't have been more right. "Everything will be perfect" they said. Again; they were right. (When is that ever true?) Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!
