Our trip to Peru using the services of Inca Expert Travel was awesome! Max Taylor planned a wonderful week which included the Sacred Valley, two visits to Machu Picchu, and Cusco. The personalized itinerary, which Max created, was thorough, very detailed and exactly what we requested. An Inca Expert representative met us at the Cusco airport to give us all of our tickets (and some bonus gifts), review the itinerary and address any questions. Beginning our adventure in the Sacred Valley helped us to acclimate to the altitude. Being 69 and 70, we had a concern about the altitude. Luckily, it wasn't an issue. Our guides were exceptional! We had three great days touring with Ivan. He was very knowledgable, accommodating, punctual, and enjoyable in addition to having a great command of English. He truly took care of us! On our first visit to Machu Picchu, Jonathan did an excellent job of sharing its history. He helped us navigate circuit 2 and pointed out the perfect photo spots. During our entire journey, the guides and drivers were prompt and courteous. Nearly everything went smoothly. The only surprise to us was the extremely long line for the bus to Machu Picchu. We waited in line for one and a half hours the first day and 45 minutes the next. (Of course, Inca Expert Travel has no control over this.) So plan accordingly! Our hotel accommodations were fabulous! We especially enjoyed our stay at Tambo del Inka in Urubamba. It is in a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful gardens. The visiting alpacas were a delight! We ate our meals by the fireside and swam in the beautiful pool. The area of Peru which we toured was absolutely stunning! The trip was very well coordinated. All pickups and drop offs were timely and well communicated. The guides were very knowable and spoke excellent English. The trip agenda was excellent and covered everything that we wanted. The hotels chosen we clean, updated, and in excellent locations.

The help from Noelia with the planning of my trip was outstanding… she made sure every detail was taken care of. I was greeted at every airport by a guide with my name on a sign, this was extremely reassuring. The hotels chosen weee great, with very attentive and kind staff members. I was grateful to have had Inca Experts take care of all the vouchers, transfers, etc especially for Machu Picchu! The guides to all of the excursions were knowledgeable and kind… much appreciated. The first class train from Auguas Calientes was well worth it! Fabulous!

The small and private tours made the experience even more special. Karina even added a short visit to a Lhama farm/cooperative which we loved! Marcos in Lima guided us on a food and historical tour that was delicious and delightful! All of the food was amazing, and Central was the icing on the cake! We will happily recommend your company to our friends who want to travel to Peru! I lost my passport on a connection from the Amazon to Cusco and the team jumped in an helped me get a temporary one quickly and easily, and our holiday continued without missing a beat!
