Had a great experience from start to finish. Our itinerary was to have a day in Lima with a culinary tour then fly to Cusco. Then tour sacred Valley, do a day hike to Machu Picu, followed by a private tour Mach Picu climbing Huayna picu before returning to Cusco for a city tour. Organization and communication was flawless. We were met at every hotel / airport as planned by friendly and knowledgeable people. They truly took care of us and all the details. We booked private tours and transport for the whole trip which i would recommend. Our travel planner Silvia was very responsive and answered all our questions.They were very flexible and let is book some our our own hotels and flights as we had points we wanted to use. All of the tour guides were kind and couldnt do enough for us. Especially Fabricio our guide for 3 days and his driver Mr Afrain. If you have any concerns that an organized tour would be following a guy around holding a flag, this couldnt have been further from our experience. More like meeting a friend of the family to shown you around!

Feedback on our recent visit to Peru including Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu was incredible. The arrangements Malissa Schenk and Inca Expert Travel made for the four of us went smoothly. The hotel accommodations and service throughout were excellent. The English speaking guides were very knowledgeable. The itinerary and plans were conducted smoothly. Timings worked out well. The tours in Cusco with Chris were excellent - he’s very passionate about his job, and his heritage and history. The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with Valario was incredible - he helped us accomplish completing the hike safely and was very informative along the way. The lunch/snack bag he provided was robust and tasty, and he stopped for appropriate rests. The lunch at Central was simply fantastic. What a wonderful celebration ending for our trip!! One thing you may want to note for future - we were able to have a small bag sent on to Aguas Caliente from Ollanteytambo, in addition to our larger bags being taken back to Cusco. Also, the reusable water bottles the guide provided in Cusco was helpful, however we needed more than one for the hike as we were not allowed to take disposable plastic bottles. Perhaps good to advise hikers of this in advance so they may plan appropriately. Also, we must thank your team for accommodating a last minute flight change two of us had at the last day and providing the airport transport at no additional cost. It was so helpful! Overall, the plans you built were thoughtful and made our trip quite memorable. We would definitely use your services again in the future and recommend to friends and family.

Working with Eli Cabrera from Inca Expert Travel took all the guess work out of planning a trip to Peru. We knew we wanted to visit Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu. She provided us with a great itinerary with five star hotels and private tours. She patiently followed up with me, answered all my questions, and made the booking experience seamless. The documentation and itinerary were well organized, easy to follow, and had just the right amount of details to ensure we were prepared for the weather, money exchanges, etc. We had the most knowledgeable guides and drivers to get us from location to location. The guides and drivers were very punctual and kept us moving at a good pace so we could experience all that Peru had to offer My son, and I always felt safe and comfortable throughout our six day adventure. The best part of the trip was seeing the Valley of the Gods, learning about the Peruvian culture/history and culminating with Machu Picchu. There are a few things to point out for future travelers. Definitely adhere to all the recommendations about acclimating to the climate in Cusco as it will make your transition to the altitude that much easier. The ride on the Vista Dome train to and from Aguas Calientes was our least favorite activity. The snacks and drinks were underwhelming, and the train itself was hot and humid. If the hotel says that the water is not suitable for drinking that also means it is not suitable to rinse your toothbrushes. Using bottled water is key. The airports in Lima and Cusco were very comfortable and clean and easy to navigate. We took our trip March 8th - March 14th, as the rainy season was ending and had the most amazing weather. I would highly recommend Inca Expert Travel to anyone that is looking for white glove service and doesn’t mind paying extra for that service.

Each piece of our tour was timed exactly right and everything went like clockwork. We were met by a company rep at each appointment and all transfers were right on time. All our guides were prompt and knowledgeable. A memorable experience it was!

We had the time of our lives in Peru. Our tour guides were all fantastic and professional. The food was fantastic in both Maido and Wayra. The hotels were execeptional. The one disappointment was we didn't get to eat at Central as originally planned. Aside from that it was one of the most awesome trips I have ever had in my life. Thank you very much.

We had the absolute BEST time! Everything was absolutely fantastic, especially with not having to worry about the tours or transportation. Inca Expert Travel does impeccable work coordinating everything and making sure we were early to everything and ensuring we didn't have to wait for anything. I literally cannot more highly recommend them, and have already told several folks about them! Let me get specific here! Javier in Cusco was fabulous. One of the things both we both appreciated was his willingness to step in between the us and the street vendors and interpret for us what they were offering. If we said we weren't interested, he would politely inform them and they moved on. We speak limited Spanish so this was incredibly helpful and put us at ease. Tomas (Cusco for Rainbow Mountain) was engaging, polite and encouraging, which we needed to finish up the hike - it was TOUGH! He was knowledgeable about EVERYTHING and did a fantastic job keeping us informed and engaged. His photography skills were also greatly appreciated to get some unique pictures at the peak! Manuel at Machu Picchu was so passionate and informative, we both felt like we had absorbed a college lecture in the three hours we spent with him, which was exactly what we wanted. The rest of the tour leaders were great as well, but those three really stood out to us. The drivers were incredibly courteous and prompt and helpful - all in all it was an unforgettable vacation, a true bucket list item checked off. We would absolutely contact them again if we decide to go to Patagonia, another place we are both interested in. Grecia was our coordinator and was patient, helpful and a wonderful resource!
