Trying to get in touch with customer…

Trying to get in touch with customer service. Answering machine say they are closed due to national holiday BUT It is not a bank holiday! I have ordered a trampoline 2 weeks ago and not received a dispatched email yet. I understand delays but at least an idea? I won’t be waiting 5 weeks like some other comments below, as it’s unacceptable. I have sent an email to customer service And I expect an answer in return with specific Timings. I do not need a trampoline in autumn but for the summer. Looking forward to hear from a representative ASAP. Thanks

AGREE WITH OTHER COMMENTS WARNING POOR SERVICE Ordered a landmine attachment for weights rig. Funds taken parcel did turn up but with a total different product have sent numerous e-mails and tried to call but no response since last Wednesday. Will update review if I ever get a response or the product I ordered.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING

I ordered 3 sets of dumbbells on 8th of May which stated they were in stock and reasonably priced. Once ordered the money was immediately debited from my account and I received an email stating I would receive my full order confirmation within 120 minutes. 5 days later still no confirmation. I emailed to enquire about the status of my order to find out that it was never processed in the first place and the items were never in stock, despite this I was still somehow charged in full for these items. I requested a full refund, which should be a simple process but still as of today am still yet to get one. I have been told on two occasions that my refund has been processed and will be returned to my account promptly yet today i received another email asking me to send proof of my purchase to which I had to send screenshots of the bank transaction as proof of my purchase. Evidently the first two emails confirming my refund had been processed are complete lies. I’ve also found that they have a habit of sending ‘automated emails’ when they cannot be bothered to reply or resolve these issues. I can see that a member of their customer service team has replied to a few people on her and I urge them to promptly resolve my issue as soon as possible. To anyone in a similar situation my advice is to contact your bank if you paid by credit card there is a procedure called section 75 where your bank can investigate the charge and force Hifi-Towers bank to refund you the money. If you paid by debit card your bank offers a similar scheme called chargeback where again they recover the money from their bank. If you are still having trouble contact the financial ombudsman, this is a free service which help with legal advice to get your money back. They may advise you to seek a simple procedure (formally small fees court) in order to get your money back. Further I advise everyone who has been wrongly charged by this company to report them to trading standards and forward any evidence so that they can build their case against Hifi-Tower and could result in them ceasing their trading in the UK. I have saved this message and will repost if they decide to report this review until my money has been returned to me. ************************************************* Update 21/05/2020 Finally received my refund in full after 12 days. Throughout the whole process however I have never received an apology or an explanation on how this happened and neither did I receive an email to confirm that they have completed the refund. Customer service is laughable with this company my advice would be to have the same person deal with each case rather than the whole department I must have received emails of at least 4 different people none of which knew how to handle my query. All in all I’d recommend you stay away from this company and order from elsewhere ********************************************* Update 2/06/2020 I finally received my refund a week or so ago, today I received an email stating that hifi tower have reported my review as they believe it is untrue information. How pathetic I have now provided Trustpilot with evidence of my dealings with this company and this review should be kept here for all to see. Please do not take notice of the good reviews here I can only imagine they are posted by staff members of the company to boost their rating in order to con more people

I order a set of dumbells and barbells with weights from this company mid way through April, I was told they would be in stock on the 17th of May, I have contacted them 3 times via email and I have had no response, I will be escalating the matter further and to higher people if I am not contacted, I expect my product delivered or a full refund!

We ordered a trampoline on 10th may and despite the fact that 1. we have not received any order number 2. we have not received an invoice 3. we have not been replied after our emails ….we got charged twice. Could someone kindly let us know something.. is the trampoline in stock? are you short of drivers? are you going to deliver 2 trampolines instead of one? thanks

Delivered late and faulty

I ordered a treadmill a while ago, turned up much later than expected AND didn't work, parts were missing and/or broken. Not happy with the service or product. Absolutely DO NOT buy from them...its a con. Now having to return, probably at my own cost!
