Cartier Refurbishment

The quality of workmanship is very good however, I have been quite surprised and disappointed at the time they have taken to complete the refurbishment of my Cartier - 3 Months, which to be honest in today's commercial environment is noticeably to long. Needless to say for this only reason, the next occasion I will be using someone else.

I sent my Rolex Oyster Perpetual in for a service on 12 Dec 2023 at the main office in Hatton Garden London, for quote, including the bracelet. The cost of servicing the bracelet was very expensive. I went to the Hatton Garden Office on 10th Jan 2024, to discuss the quote, where I agreed to just get the watch serviced and I'd get the bracelet service/repair somewhere else and took the bracelet home with me. So I paid upfront the watch service cost on 10th Jan 2024. They do say that servicing could be between 20 to 40 weeks. I thought 20-30 weeks would be OK. As the months went by, I was never kept informed on progress, when I telephoned the office, no one answers the phone, same every time....so not impressed with their customer service. I eventually got my watch back 1st week of Sept 2024.....so they'd had it 9 months. I paid to have new spring bars fitted for the bracelet, the watch was returned without any. I emailed them and they said, yes you paid for spring bars, they then asked if I'd send the watch back, I said no, you've already had it 9 months, just send me two spring bars in the post. Nothing happened, sent another email, no reply. So I can honestly say, based on my experience, I'd never use this company again. I can see they get a lot of positive reviews....well not from me, based on my experience. Still waiting for the spring bars I paid for !

Excellent service

I needed a battery replacing on a Tudor watch that hadn't been worn for a while, & I didn't want the time & expense of going via Rolex, as I had in the past. This was a seamless and cost effective alternative. After receiving the prepaid postal pack, I sent the watch on Thursday afternoon, received a quote for battery replacement on Friday, & after agreeing to the cost (postage is added to what is quoted online, which is fair enough), the watch was returned to me in full working order by the following Tuesday morning. LWR keeps you updated at every stage of the process, & I was very pleased with the service that I received from them.

Great service. I was kept informed at all times on the progress of my watch service and repair. I also needed a quick turn around for holidays and LWR did this for me. Highly recommend and will definitely use them in the future.
