Professional service centre and value for money.

From the first communication to receiving my watch back the service and updates from Luxury Watch repairs were excellent. I was a bit apprehensive sending my Omega to somewhere I hadn’t used before but a bit of research confirmed they were a professional service centre. I needn’t have been nervous and the service was first class throughout. My watch was returned promptly and securely. Thoroughly recommend them if you need your watch servicing. I’ll be using them from now on. Prices were very reasonable also and cheaper than the last company I used.

2009 Tag Heuer Automatic

I sent my 2009 Tag Heuer Automatic to LWR needing a long overdue service – I think only had the 1 service before - and at the same time took advantage of their reduced price for a refurbishment if taken along with the service. I wore this watch daily and it has the usual wear and tear signs, nothing major just in need of some love. Nice and easy process with LWR supplying a pre-paid and insured packet, put the watch in and take it to the Post Office. Few days later LWR sent an estimate and most importantly, a time frame of 12-14 weeks completion upon full payment – which I did immediately. To be honest, I initially missed this length of time out and I was sort of expecting only a few weeks and did question at the time but was reminded that 12-14 weeks had been quoted. Anyway, moral of the story is communications from LWR are good, regular messages on any updates and I decided after reading some of the negative reviews here, especially on the time taken to then just ignore it until week 12 at least. Week 12 arrived since I paid in full for my watch service and refurbishment, so I started to ramp up the mails. Again, I have to be honest, I did not feel fobbed off, I received a proper and personal update to actually where my watch was in the process and a commitment that it should be couriered back me within week 14. Wednesday of week 14, I received a watch completed mail and that it was now with their dispatch area. Another mail soon after advising that on packing found a small issue with the refurb so back to the polisher to resolve – this to be honest a good thing as was still expecting an almost pristine watch back to me and would have probably noticed it so glad its also resolved. Thursday of week 14, finally received tracking information from Royal Mail to be delivered back to me – Registered ad insured. AM Friday of week 14, watch arrived home. I had forgotten the free travel pouch provided, this both practical to post but also useful for me. Watch itself – looks fantastic and very pleased. All the scratches out and does literally look new again. All in all, and total credit where its due, I am more than happy with LWR and would of course use again. Please just take note of the completion estimate, if this not acceptable then ask for your watch back, otherwise just let them do their thing. My Tag watch was never a high value item in the scale of things. I actually looked at getting a replacement but spending just £650 ish to have it serviced, refurbished and a new guarantee from LWR rather than £2,500+ on an equivalent was and is a no-brainer. It looks fantastic, almost to the point of I may no longer wear it daily it looks so good – time will of course tell here !!!!! Finally, from my point of view, I could have sent my watch directly to Tag and indeed reached out to them about this. It would have been circa twice the cost but probably less than half the time But as mentioned, my watch was not overly high value therefore to spend that much seemed wrong and not cost effective hence going with LWR. Thank you again LWR.

I sent 2 watches off for replacement…

I sent 2 watches off for replacement batteries and seal replacements. One watch came back fine but the other one I had no estimate sent to me so I kept sending email after emails which I had no response to until I tried a different email. The response was we did send you a email which included the quote. There was no attachment to this email so another quote was sent out which I received, it was eye watering, so I asked for another quote for the battery and seals to be done and forget the bezel.Guess what NO REPLY no revised quote.Cutomer service is rubbish they do not keep you up to date and don't answer your emails.

I paid for my Omega to be serviced in…

I paid for my Omega to be serviced in February. Estimated time was 15 to 20 weeks. I received an e Mail every 2 weeks to say my service was progressing. I called them after 15 weeks and was told estimate was 20 weeks. Called again after 20 weeks to be told watch would be shipped the following week. It was not. Called again after 22 weeks to be told parts have not been received. Now being told that it will be September assuming the parts arrive. So it seems they keep my money and watch until parts have arrived and they cannot say how long that will be. Planning to take legal advice ! Take care when using this company and select reviews over the past year to get a clearer view of current performance.

Great job to rejuvenate my wife’s Cartier Panthere to mint condition

LWR did a wonderful job servicing and bringing my wife’s Cartier Panthere up to showroom standard. It was not in great shape but is now as good as new. LWR kept me informed every step of the way and I was very impressed with the quality of the service. I will use them again where my watches need attention.
