THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF…

I can only guess the 5* reviews on here are as fraudulent as the rest of the company. They mis-sell contracts and bill customers for services you do not have or use. Am currently attempting to exit the contract, which will cost more money, but it's worth it just to never have to be defrauded by them again. Use them at your peril. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam, they try to lure you and push you sign a contract for 5 years! They did promise to give 2 months free but there is no free at all! Each month they charge £150 to £180 for broadband and telephone! While the contract that I signed is £59.50/month. People should avoid this company! After raised an issue with them, they do send another invoice that credit back to my account. However, the way they give the bill is not clear! I will wait until next month’s bill then will consider for next step. When I signed a contract for £59.50, I expect that they will issue the invoice at exactly amount!

Avoid like the plague

If you are a small business or sole trader looking for a good mobile phone deal, avoid this company like the plague. It says it's a partner of Vodaphone and reports to sell you a 'great deal' which includes things like 2 virtual lines and a mifi you don't need or want but they're part of the package. Vodaphone charge you for everything and onecom pay a cash discount for the first 17 of the 36 months contract. After that you're paying full price for the extras you didn't want in the first place. The agents talk about the price you pay Onecom but rarely mention the Vodaphone side of the bill. So what sounds like a £40, £50 deal can end-up costing considerably more because you have to add the Vodaphone bill, up to 3 or 4 times the original amount. The only way out of the contract is to pay a ridiculously high early termination fee, which Onecom says is down to Vodaphone, or Onecom lures you back into another three-year contract. They stay on the line while you sign the contract and AS YOU ARE A BUSINESS, THERE IS NO COOLING OFF PERIOD. So many small business have been trapped by this company. There's even a Facebook group to share information!

Was talked into this 36 months contract…

Was talked into this 36 months contract 18 months ago. There was no cooling off period as they told me they were the “business arm” of Vodafone ( a LIE) So Vodafone charges you, for instance £100 pcm, and one.con gives you £90 back. So you pay £10 a month. But only for the first 18 months. Then, one.con STOP paying you anything, and you end with the big bill from Vodafone, and that INCREASES with RPI. So I’m now stuck until October 2025 with a huge bill: Unless I renew my one.con contract! It’s basically a ‘legal’ con,a scam! Yes you can go to toothless CIFAS, but that’s a roll of the dice as to the outcome! I feel well and truly conned. I’m only a sole trader, and I don’t earn a lot, so this is really hurting! Be interesting to know how many of their employees wrote reviews, wouldn’t it…..
