I had a great overall experience with Vector Security. I wasn't surprised as I have used their security products and services for other homes I have owned over the years with similar success. They offered the best technology for what I needed, and the installation was professional and per our agreement. Their customer service is outstanding, and I know their monitoring service going forward will provide me great peace of mind.

I've been very happy with the electric "security" part of the company/ the entry alarms, etc, - the service center people are very nice but can only take info, not actually help or resolve problems - and I'm not going to waste my time waiting for a supervisor to call while I'm WAITING for a tech to call -- they take hours to respond - they won't even call to say they are "too busy" to talk to you. That's why I'm looking for a new company. I was the first in my neighborhood to let you guys switch me but over the years when a tech is needed you're out of luck. There's too many companies offering services and resources if you were to get robbed. I advised the service center would call to cancel - but am still paying while I look and getting whatever service I can in the interim. (Would not recommend you to my neighbor though - he's a Baltimore Raven football player - unless he had his own IT for your security system)
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible. Took forever to get through to anyone for any kind of service help. Trying to cancel the policy was even more difficult. First we were told we would need to pay out the remaining coverage FOR THREE YEARS. Then when we finally got that removed they charged us another month while they processed our cancellation. We were told as long as we had it in by the end of the month, the following month would not be charged, but it was, even though I had talked to customer service 4 times to confirm and get paperwork in. This company needs to get their act together as I will never use the again.

This company used to be excellent, but after attempting to schedule an install of a 2nd security system in 2nd house, the Raleigh, NC branch would not quote me or call back. Vector is in sales right? I have paid my bill since 2010 right?

I have been using vector security for years, at my home and office, I have been very happy with their services.
Vector service has been excellent but some equipment reliability issues
The security service has been excellent. The equipment has not totally lived up to expectations. Several sensors have failed, one resulting in a false call to police and the outside cameras have periodic clarity and sensitivity issues. Vector has been prompt in responding to service calls when requested.
