Honestly just go with a trusted independent local cleaner

I honestly wish I didn't bother with this website and used a independent local cleaner instead. I received a marketing email from Wecasa titled ' This is your sign to take care of your mental health ' - which is a joke, because the current situation has caused so much stress that could have been avoided. We booked for a Deep Spring Clean which charges a premium fee compared to the one off regular clean. I wouldn't even describe the clean we received to be the standards of a basic clean. Firstly our cleaner arrived 40 minutes late ( with very poor communication) , causing us to cancel plans we arranged to allow our cleaner space to work in the flat. We communicated a non exhaustive list of essentials plus the general clean and literally nothing was done. To name a few - dust was still on every single surface, bathroom surfaces still had clear toothpaste/product residue , our kitchen looks like someone has smeared a whole bottle of oil across the cabinets and splashback. Our bedsheets were changed, however it became clear later that they were all on inside out - which is just ridiculous. On top of this a very sentimental ornament was dropped and smashed and a glass was also cracked ! Just pure negligence and a poor duty of care. WeCasa have decided that we are only due a £63 voucher, instead of the £84 that has been spent on this abysmal 'professional' service. I really don't understand why WeCasa thinks we would want to put our trust in their services/another cleaner, as this whole situation will probably just repeat itself.

Hard to find a good professional

It takes a while before you can find a good professional due to the way the app works at matching you to a professional. In addition you need to know the app inside out to figure out how to cancel, rearrange bookings and to see what has been cancelled and what hasn’t, especially as the home page will only show one appointment ( even if you have 2 on the same day). They have some work to do to make the app easier to use and to make it easier for clients to pick professionals. There is also no way to get immediate, urgent and instant support from customer service - you have to use their chat functionality and it can take up to 20 minutes for a reply.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! Our cleaner damaged our bath tub and Wecasa said they will not cover any damage to surfaces or floors so long as they are still useable, Secondly, even if the cleaner does damage your property they wont pay for anything until it costs more than £200. Not worth it, way better options on the market .
