Very helpful and the resources are useful are practicing the general concepts of the course. Also tutor adapts to any request you have and consistently asks if you understand the content.

The initial interview with their rep went great, but I was not happy with my daughter’s tutor. He came across as a slob and we saw him smoking a blunt when he thought the camera was off.

Having the 1 on 1 guidance was very useful. The instructor was very knowledgeable and knew how to explain the content so I could understand it.

My daughter’s ACT tutor that was selected for her was good at motivating her, and helping her get more comfortable with the material. When she took the exam, she felt more at ease working through the material. The tutoring was a great way to get her to review the ACT material and practice questions!

Mrs. Iqbal has done a wonderful job! My son has really improved in reading and grateful for her help!

Over the past 2 months my daughter has had 2 tutors, each has no showed, cancelled or rescheduled without notification. It is also and option for tutors to “turn off” messages, leaving my daughter unable to respond to rescheduled sessions. The inconsistency and lack of reliability with the services provided is shocking and the monthly fee being paid does not in any way provide the kind of support needed. In addition, for each cancellation the fees are still charged but the session carries over, there is no refund, which is maddening. I am deeply concerned that with the number of sessions piling up that when we do want to discontinue we will have a difficult time and over a month of services owed. I would not recommend this service to college age students.

My tutor Lesly was the best. I’ve learned so much during our tutoring session and she was always supportive during this whole process. I really admired the creativity during each session and all the helpful mnemonics that she supplied me with to remember the materials. I would have not been able to do it without her. Lesly always was prepared to switch courses if needed for me from the first session and that is a great thing because I felt like she was listening to how I was feeling with materials. She has made me feel more confident going into the exam and I passed. It was so amazing and after finishing the sessions she was still there to help with last minute questions or just to check in about the test afterwards. I highly recommend varsity tutors and they definitely partner you with the right person dependent on your needs. The website and APP is really easy to use and navigate.
