We travelled from Lincolnshire to buy Bikes from Surge. Initially because the price quoted on line was the best we had seen anywhere, but the communication we had with the company before travelling was great, they even phoned us to tell us that one of the sale bikes we were interested in had been sold, giving us the option not to go. We are so pleased that we did ! We bought 2 e-bikes which we are really pleased with. The assistance we got before and on the day was fantastic, no sales pitch, just good honest help and advice. Having finally decided after much deliberation to purchase an ORBEA GAIN M30 I contacted my local Orbea distributor (I live in Southend Essex) who reckoned that it could take several months to source. I came across Surge Bikes after that purely by way of an internet search and gave them a call. To my surprise they were not only able to supply from stock but told me that there were road & gravel versions available of which I had not been aware. They had the gravel version in my size already set-up so it was available for a test ride. I travelled to Basingstoke the following saturday and was attended by Michael who was not only extremely friendly but super knowlegeable. Michael ran through all of the features of the bike and the motor settings. We also ran through my particular requirements and i eventually opted for the road version. As this was in stock but not setup Michael arranged for it to be delivered to me. He assured me that it would be securely packaged and for sure it was !. Absolutely no chance of damages. They must get through hundreds of pallets plus miles of bubble wrap and plastic shrinkrap over the course of a year..... The bike itself is fantastic. It does exactly what I wanted & anticipated. I am very pleased and it was well worth the 200 mile round trip to benefit from the knowledge and professionalism of both Michael & Matt - not to mention the Surge Boost which was very welcome. Surge Bikes are an excellent company to buy an electric bike from. This was a hassle free experience and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought a Tern GSD and took advantage of their fantastic surge boost offer so got £520 of accessories with my bike. I was particularly impressed with the delivery, I live remotely and £100 for pallet delivery to a Scottish Island was very reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Surge Bikes again.

Best place to go for an e-bike. These guys offer great advice with lots of patience. I bought my Obea Gain gravel bike from them a month ago and love it. The definitely got the right bike for what I was wanting. Their advice and service is refreshingly good, honest and lacking in any high sales tactics. They love their bikes and love their jobs and it shows.

I was very impressed with Surge bikes. They know their stuff and actually advised me to purchase a slightly less expensive model which saved me a couple of thousand pounds. They did what they promised to do and the bike was ready for pickup at the prescribed time.
