I bought an electric bike from them using the Transport Scotland loan scheme. The loan took weeks to come through (no fault of Surge Bikes) but they kept the bike on hold for me and provided all the necessary paperwork. Once the purchase went through the bike arrived in perfect condition, well packaged, fully charged and ready to go.

Matt and his team have given great service and great advice and given me real confidence to get into e-cycling. Having great fun and would recommend Surge to anyone.

Bought a HAIBIKE Trekking 7 from surge bikes I phoned first and. made an appointment, staff could not be more helpful they had 2 sizes of the model made up ready for me to try decided on the larger of the 2,everything about the bike was explained to down to the last detail by Mike,found the whole experience excellent.

Excellent service with friendly staff and nothing is to much trouble.My Journey to Bramley was over an hours drive and I was met with a warm welcome,I then tested a few bikes before making the decision to purchase one ,of which the size was not in stock.They located one from their supplier and the delivery was the following week. The day prior to me picking the bike up Micheal gave me a call to inform me of the south road would be closed and I would have to arrive on the northbound road. Today I went for a short ride on my Haibike trekking 4 and the long hill on the way home was no problem and no sweat. The expert advice I was given is much appreciated.

I’d decided with retirement approaching to buy an e bike but was finding it difficult to get advice. I went to visit Surge bikes at Basingstoke and met up with Mike Flood who managed to advise me on the bike for my needs ,future use ,and most importantly wallet. I checked out a few options and also managed a test ride which was fun and reassuring. The actual sale was managed by Matt Cook and the whole experience has been professional and efficient. I’m loving my new bike and enjoying using it on a regular basis.

I bought a Tern GSD electric cargo bike from Surge. They had a very good deal on accessories. Customer service was excellent and they checked everything was right before finalising the order. Delivery was fine (shipped to house) and instructions for receiving and handling bike were very good. Overall extremely pleased. Areas for improvement? A bit more warning of when it might be delivered (the freight company give a 9-5 delivery window and 2 people needed to be at home to move it) as arranging a whole day off work with < 7 days notice tricky.
