I was looking for an Orbea Gain Electric Road bike, and although not local to me, I am glad I made the trip to visit Surge Bikes. They were able to offer me some choice (in these days of limited availability) and provide good practical advice. Was able to ride different bikes in order to get idea of size and spec. Left with a purchase and very happy.

Purchased a Tern e-cargo bike online from Surge, with a good overall experience. Pre-order arrangements were clear, and the Surge Boost programme made a previously inconceivable purchase suddenly possible. Matt at Surge was very patient in explaining, recommending and helping me throughout, despite my anxieties over some card detail issues. (My recommendation is to call your bank ahead of attempting your purchase with a card, it may save you a few days!) The bike shipped well in a sturdy box, hemmed in with bubble wrap and cushioning boxes, so despite its journey, it and the accessories arrived to me in pristine order. I'm pretty bike familiar, so assembly was nothing major, but Surge also has a detailed info page on how to set your bike up following shipping. Despite the minor headache of some payment issues, and the pallet delivery being inherently less convenient than every day deliveries (not a Surge issue at all, as they use your most local pallet delivery company) I would have no hesitation in recommending Surge Bikes for an e bike order.
