Purchased a new Merida E-Silex 400. I knew the type of bike I wanted and had started to research brands and suppliers so decided to visit Surge Bikes for more information. I was extremely surprised by the extensive range of bikes and the fact that they had stock of one of the bikes on my shortlist. I tried the bike and liked it so much that I made the decision there and then to buy it. Matt and all the guys were extremely helpful and kept me up to date as to when the bike would be ready and then helped select accessories when I collected it. A very nice shop and great service, would definitely use again and highly recommend.

I bought a Benno Boost from Surge Bikes back in July as a solution to carrying two small children. I had absolutely no knowledge of ebikes but Matt and the team were incredibly helpful and really know their stuff. They were able to advise on a number of options and took a complete novice through things with lots of patience and no pushiness. Really responsive on email/by phone too. The Surge Boost is a fantastic idea and allows you to kit out your bike straight away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Surge Bikes and I am know an ebike convert!

Surge bikes made buying a bike from 150 miles away very easy indeed. I was able to speak to real people throughout, asking questions, and making sure that I had the right bike and accessories for what I wanted to be able to do. They were genuinely interested in what I wanted to do and made sure that I wasn't buying something I'd be disappointed with, but at the same time weren't pushy at all. I decided to go down to the shop to collect the bike rather than have it shipped to me and it was there waiting for me to test ride when I got there. All very seamless and with excellent aftercare. The bike itself is also fantastic quality, along with the great accessories. I would definitely use surge bikes again.
