Superb service, especially during lock-down. I had several online conversations about suitable ebikes with Matt at Surge bikes and following his advice I took the plunge and bought a hardtail ebike. I Had not ridden a bike for about 20 years and I knew very little about ebikes, apart from YouTube clips, so I was very grateful for the for the (socially distanced) one to one tuition from the Surge Bike team member who delivered my shiny new toy.

Purchased a Tern GSD S00, the service was excellent, from the sleek and easy to use website, generous accessories offer, secure purchase process, speedy delivery, to the high quality of communication. I had quite a few queries to be sure the bike was a good fit. Surge Bikes responded quickly with spot on advice each time. Based on my experience I couldn't recommend any improvements - even the price was much lower than I'd anticipated due to the SurgeBoost Accessories deal allowing me to include all the accessories I required for no extra cost.

I placed an order with Surge Bikes in March for an Orbea Wild FS e-Mtb. I had researched this bike and decided that it was the one. But it was out of stock everywhere. I contacted Surge and was informed that they were expecting an order in a two months but I could use their online ordering system and secure a bike with a small deposit. I had a few queries about p&p to channel island and always received prompt emails from Matt. The bike was dispatched to me within a week of it arriving at Surge. The bike arrived assembled in a box, wrapped in bubble wrap, strapped to a pallet. There was no way this was going to be damaged in transit! This care and attention to detail gives me confidence in giving Surge 10/10 for customer service and satisfaction.

Great service, I’m so happy I found SURGE BIKES great advice from the start , I had an idea what I wanted when I went in but Matt advised me buy a different model because it suited my needs better even thou it was a cheaper bike ! I had a warranty issue that was sorted with one phone call . Really great service and the boost makes the deal even better , I’m definitely coming back for my next bike .

After much research and listening to local e-bike owners I decided to buy an Orbea Gain. The Orbea suited my riding style (gravel and road) and my budget! Finding a bike was the next issue. Owing to the general situation, finding a dealer with stock in March 2021 was very difficult. Searching the internet I came across Surge Bikes, who could supply an Orbea Gain, right spec., right colour and size, in May 2021. I spoke to Matt on the phone and explained that I lived 100kms away. Matt was happy to have the bike delivered, but my preference was to pick the bike up myself. The bike became available on time and I was then able to take advantage of the Surge Boost offer. Surge Bikes was not known to me, since, not knowing the area, I was unable to guage local opinion on bike shop reputation. I need not have been concerned since I received both courteous and efficient service from Matt and his team. Since Surge Bikes is not going to be my LOCAL bike shop, (too far to just drop in!) it has been important that Matt has always answered my emails promptly and has always been able to answer my questions. It is excellent customer service to look after your customers and Matt and his team have certainly done that. I ordered a orbea wild fs after speaking with matt, the bike arrived just over a month later as I was told when Ordered. Wow what a great bike. Love it! Had a slight issue with the cassette but i just popped it back to matt and all was sorted. Great service and would highly recommend surge for you next ebike, that's where my next upgrade will be coming from
