I was told the surveyor would be sent home to provide a quote. The reality is it's just a salesperson and they want to use pressure tactics to get you to agree right there and then. The quote was also incredibly expensive. The salesperson (surveyor) promised a battery sale. Apparently, only a week before they were giving half-price battery and they would happily try to get me on that offer. But, only if I signed up straight away. Not worth it, soooooo many other reputable companies in the UK for much lower price.

Very good experience when dealing with Project Solar. The sales engineer who came to survey and explain the installation was very good at explaining the system to be installed and the process that would happen. I had lots of questions which were answered very well and those he could not answer he took away and came back to me. It was explained that their product was not the cheapest but as I know quality does cost. So was impressed with the honesty shown. Communication was excellent throughout with email, whatsapp and direct telephone conversations being used. Was kept fully informed on the installation including the erection of scaffolding. The install was completed in a day with good communication and workmanship. In my case the install was on 2 buildings; garage and main house. There was an issue with access to the garage roof from a neighbour's garden which was dealt with sympathetically by the scaffolding team. I was kept in the loop for decisions on cable routing around my property on the main installation day and I found the installation teams polite and pleasant and very professional. The cabling and routing being very neat and tidy. It did not go completely smoothly however as a fault was found with the inverter but this was dealt with efficiently and the replacement was sent the day after and installed and commissioned the day after to their credit. So I class this as a positive as we know unforseen problems do arise but it's the way it is dealt with which was great in this case. Instructions were clear and easy to follow which included getting the system certified for exporting electricity to the grid and getting the monitoring App up and running on my phone. The system has been running for 6mths now without issue and I'm saving money even in the depths of winter. So very pleased with Project Solar and I wholeheartedly recommend them as a professional and helpful company to deal with and a have a great product.

The service was very professional and efficient by all, from the surveyor and installers. Time was spent by all, explaining how everything was being installed. On completion of the installation they showed me what and how the various controls worked and finally made sure that the installation was working satisfactory. The surveyor contacted me two weeks after the installation was completed, to make sure every thing was working satisfactorily.

A good way to get solar very helpful

Very happy with the service from Project Solar. Everything was explained well by our salesman, Nick. Installation was quick and hassle free and the installers made sure to leave everything clean and tidy before they left. Any questions we've had since have been answered and we would recommend Project Solar to anyone looking at having panels installed. Still a little early to tell what sort of savings we can make over the summer months but all in all very pleased with the service.

My experience of Project Solar has been excellent. From Makram the initial sales rep, through install and subsequent customer support. The workmanship was really good and they completed the install in one day. They have been really clear in their communication, and timely in providing subsequent documents etc. Now just need the sun to come out

12 panel system, 8.6kw battery. To start with I will explain, I am a geek, nerd, techie, all of the above. I have been researching solar panels for a long time now and have never thought it was worth the expense, until recently. With the added use of batteries, more powerful panels with improved technology the systems started to become increasing viable, unfortunately the cost has sky rocketed and there are no more spectacular grants from the Government. With the above considered I still decided to make an enquiry to Project Solar UK. I tried a number of other companies first to get information and a no obligation quote and was turned down. Project Solar UK accepted my call on a Wednesday, sent a Project Manager (salesman - although he was very good) out a day later, and that same day I had committed to a purchase, placed an order and bought a Solar system. He was at my address for 3 hours, I asked a lot of questions, but everything was explained in perfect detail. He gave me, what I thought, was a great deal on the entire kit, and managed to get the installation booked in for 10 days later! He wasn't pushy like some sales people however you have to expect a bit of that. The engineers turned up on time, were polite, courteous and very proffesional. They were very experienced electricians and Solar installers which inspired confidence. The whole 12 panel installation (over 2 roofs), battery and inverter systems were installed in a single day. They left everything neat, tidy, and explained everything to me. Overall experience - I will 100% be recommending Project Solar to every family and friend, fantastic experience from start to finish.
