At the start of the claim process i was a bit annoyed because i thought i was speaking to admiral and the agent confirmed i was speaking to my insurer but it turned out to be a claims management company so that worried me as id never heard of this process before. However since then the hire car was delivered to me instantly. The lady in the office has been incredibly helpful, friendly and re assuring, theyre easy to get hold of and the claim has now been settled and paid to me. I think the negative reviews are likely from complex claims mine was no fault and the process with spectra after the initial worry that i wasn't dealing with admiral directly has been great hopefully i don't need to but would use them again.

Avoid these CLOWNS at all costs! Ensure you are actually speaking to your own insurance company and not duped into dealing with SPECTRA DRIVE. After a non fault claim, I felt like the victim after months of titting around with this lot. I found out they had held my claim money for 5 weeks!!! I contacted them to ask why?...They blocked my number!!! I used a different number to call and they answered!...Your money will be transferred in the next 30 mins they said. They caused havoc with the other insurance company to the point where I had to attend meetings with their solicitors to resolve any issues. You have been warned. Check out their Google reviews too!

Car accident claim
I was involved in a car accident and third party admitted fault. All went through pretty quickly and I had an offer within 4 days, which was more than I expected. I was sceptical when spectradrive asked for access to my account and bank statements and after reading some of the other reviews sent me into a bit of a spiral. I spoke to spectradrive a couple of times and they refused to release funds until I completed the financial disclosure link, this delayed things because I was so unsure. After speaking to my bank and getting some advice I finally clicked on link and completed. The good news is within 2 days the money was in my bank and during that time I emailed a few times and to be fair spectradrive responded quickly. It was a bit of a worry clicking on the financial enclosure link but once I did it all went through fine. For those with concerns reading the bad reviews like I did, I wouldn't worry. I have to be honest they did everything right.
