DO NOT USE

I would have given no stars if possible! Ordered 14th June. They did not offer a delivery date for the goods ordered , when chased 2 weeks later. Would not refund monies for nearly a month. They took the Payment 14/6/21 Cancelled 2/7/21 Refunded 29/7/21 Apparently busy...I don't think that will last. DO NOT USE IS MY RECOMMENDATION.

Please do not use this company. Avoid at all costs!

Please do not use this company. Ordered a fridge/freezer in January 2021 took weeks to arrive with no communication. Item arrived in February and was dented upon unpacking and then took numerous emails and calls to get a £30 refund! We are now in August and the fridge has broken, 4 days before my wedding! They do not answer the phone and tell you via an automated message that due to high volume calls to email instead. Very poor customer service. Pay the big extra and order from a reputable company. 😡

0 Stars, I have read through all of the reviews and have the same problem as every person on this. We ordered a chest freezer in March this year told it would be delivered first week in May, 20 plus calls later and being fobbed off like every person on this we still have not had anything but waffle and lies. What I can’t believe is how many people have the same issue and how is this company getting away with this terrible scam. I would also like to know what can be done about it legally because they are literally farting away with murder. We are thinking about reporting them to the ombudsman and whoever will listen but don’t really know how to go about it. Here is the latest email I spent them and yes no reply. Good Morning Francesca, As discussed yesterday, please dont think for one moment I am blaming you here. :) My partner & I feel that the treatment we have received from Appliance Group has been nothing short of appalling, As we both discussed at great length yesterday we placed this order (103146) in good faith with your selves on the 15th April this year and was told it would be delivered to us in the first week of May. Since then, and three and a half months later. I have had to call your company more than twenty times to see what is going on with my order, I have been promised at least 10 times that I would receive a call the following week from the delivery company confirming a delivery date for us which never came. So I then have to call to find out why. I have been told all sorts of different stories from :- 1. Covid is causing delays which I think we all understand. 2. It's in stock but unable to dispatch. (only being allowed 5 staff in the warehouse due to Covid.19). 3. It's in the warehouse but now short staffed. 4. and currently unable to be dispatched due to delivery company issues. 5..We thought it was in the warehouse and in stock but it isn't as there was an error with receiving your order into the warehouse from the supplier, 6. There is now an issue with getting this product from the supplier. 7. Due to the inconvenience I have encountered I will receive a 15% discount for my troubles when it is finally delivered. 8. You now need to speak to our senior office manager as we are unable to deal with it. Even after all of the above & being very calm & patient, I eventually spoker to the senior office manager who seemed to be a very helpful lady and explained that there is currently a problem with the item being delivered due to external delivery company issues. But to be fair she said she would try to bypass this for me and have my item delivered directly to me due to the inconvenience we have suffered over the last 4 months, we also discussed other options and agreed that if she could not deliver my item directly to me we could/should consider another product which is in stock and available to be delivered. I said to her I would not want anything smaller than the 142 Litre Chest freezer I have ordered and would prefer something similar or slightly bigger but I will not be paying any extra under the circumstances which she agreed to. Since then I have not heard anything.back which I think is totally unprofessional/very rude and angers me even more. I have called in a further three times since last week to discuss this further with her only to be told it's her day off, or she isn't available, can we take a message and she will call you straight back all of which haven't happened. If this situation has not been resolved to our satisfaction over the coming days by Appliance Group I think we will be looking to take this further legally as we feel that we have been treated so unfairly.

Be very cautious when using this company…

Be very cautious when ordering from this company. I ordered a dishwasher but had to cancel a day after placing it as they informed me it would not be in stock for at least two weeks. They were helpful at that point and said in writing that I'd be refunded in 10-14 working days. Despite writing to them several times by email after 14 working days this never happened. All I got each time was a generic email stating the refund could take up to 21 days . After 38 working days I've still not had a refund and have completed a chargeback request to the bank who will take it forward and removed the charge from my credit card balance. Thank goodness I paid on credit card ether than visa.

Take your money and keep it as long as possible

Ordered a dishwasher and although it was on back order, we didn’t mind waiting. After the 6 weeks with no communication, they then they told us (after we called them) it would be another 6 weeks. We then requested to cancel and filled in the cancellation forms, we are still waiting, 6 weeks later, for a refund. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

This company should be avoided at all…

This company should be avoided at all costs. They take your money and then don't deliver the items. They blame it on their suppliers, Brexit and COVID and pretty much anything else they can think of. But other distributors seem to be able to get the items fine. Bought the same item from ao.com and it is confirmed for delivery in two days after I'd waited for over a month from Appliance Group. Simple fact is it's a scam. Report them to Trading Standards. The more people that do the sooner they'll get closed down.
