Horrendous!
This company pursued me for my order and now do not take phone calls or reply to emails. They owe me a significant amount of money and legal action appears to be my only option.

It really does take a lot to get me to write a bad review, especially when I know first hand the impact COVID has had on companies and staffing over the last year..but I am absolutley fed up with chasing this company and cannot see how it can take 2 months to process a straightforward refund. Even if you had to issue 50 refunds a day, it can't take that long to review the request, approve if appropriate and transfer the funds. In my case this should have been super simple as my order was just cancelled and didn't involve having to wait for items to be returned nor did it involve any sort of dispute over payments or anything like that. It was just a cancellation! I ordered a fridge freezer in early April and on the website it stated it would be special order from the manuafacturer and could take up to 14 days - so I expected a slight delay. However, after taking my money and sending a confirmation email, I heard nothing. I called to find out the expected delivery date, thinking it would be end of April/even early May perhaps - but no, it was scheduled for JUNE!!! Obviously this was useless to me - and it would have been nice if they actually communicated that huge delay to me rather than me having to call them to find out myself.. I was disappointed, but again, with COVID and Brexit, I was sympathetic to the issue and just asked for a refund. Even this was convoluted. Rather than just request the refund on my order there and then, the (very nice) person on the phone explained I have to email the cancellations team directly to request the refund that way...which seemed unecessarily longwinded but ok, fine. So I request the refund and get an automated response saying 'please allow 5 working days for it to be processed'. Fair enough I think, and get on with sourcing an alternative appliance from elsewhere. Over 5 working days later..no refund. So I email again and get another automated response, this time stating it may take up to 14 working days.... My sympathetic (aka mug) hat still on...I think I'm sure they're short staffed and that's why I've not been processed yet, and now they've changed their email, so they are aware etc...so again, I wait. After a further 14 working days, guess what...yep, still no refund!! This time I call again and was told I am definitely listed for a refund and it should be processed by Friday..sigh, nope. Called again, 'we have staff shortages but I will escalate to the team to get it done asap'...weeks later, still nothing. It has now been 2 months since requesting a simple refund. Totally unacceptable. I have seen other people on here have had the exact same experience and am appalled to hear some have been told to seek the refund via their bank/credit card company because 'it is more secure'- absolute twaddle. You can issue the refund to the card used to purchase it, just like every other (legit) company does! Why would you want us to get the bank involved unless you already know you have no intention of refunding anyone? I really have been sympathetic to issues they may have with suppliers and staffing and I have been understanding and patient waiting for my refund, but even I have a limit. Communication has been non-existent and you cannot get hold of the cancellation team directly, just via the email, which only gives an automated response and nobody actually replies. Everyone I have spoken to via the Customer Care telephone number has been kind and understanding, but have been unable to offer any sort of resolution - either because they genuinely haven't got a clue themselves on how it can take 2 MONTHS!!, or just don't have the authority to do anything about it. Either way it seems a really unfair position to put them in knowing the amount of angry and ripped off customers they will encounter given how this company seems to treat it's customers. I hate having to leave this review, and I always try to see the reasons behind things and give the benefit of the doubt, but I am now feeling royally ripped off. I don't want an explaination, I don't even want an apology, just give me my refund!! Louise

Do NOT trust this company. I ordered a freezer on 28th March to be delivered week commencing 19th April, then they had courier issues and given another date. No delivery, they then said it was in a container. From then they ignore my calls and emails. They have had my money for 3 months. I believe this company is a fraud. Go with a trusted brand.

In the process of taking these people to court as no reason to why they won’t give me my money back when I cancelled. This will hopefully learn them a big lesson as will now cost them a lot more than a refund. I won’t let these people scam me. I’ll let you all know the outcome when sued. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. ID RATHER PAY DOUBLE THE PRICE THAN USE THIS COMPANY

Did not have any problem in ordering price was very good too but then did not get delivery on date promised until I called them to ask them what happened I was told no stock and will let me know when it back in stock got it 5weeks later
Lose your money or dont have your goods you decide
Ordered a fridge freezer in February 2021 told we would have to wait a bit for the fridge to come in stock , then it was on it's way to us , then it was lost on way to be delivered , then we was waiting for it to come back in stock .... we went on to cancel it in April after being fed alot of lies .... after several emails with account details for the refund followed by several phone calls and promises of our money back in that week , I am being told they no longer issue refunds using bacs as its insecure .... I am told their CEO has decided this yesterday and if anyone wants refunds now they must go to their own bank and get them to retrieve it !!!! This is clearly a company with it's back to the wall who's only care is keeping money in there own pocket and the customer really doesnt matter Appalling company In reply to your comments below , yes you fed lies throughout promising refunds by certain dates which never happened leaving it run on till the 110th day knowing that's the deadline to claim back on your credit card .... the fridge was even on tracker out for delivery upto 10 miles of our property and didnt show

I wrote a review about a week ago detailing the non delivery of a freezer. The answer was apologetic and pleased that I had received my refund. Don't be fooled I still have heard NOTHING about a refund and the claim remains with my credit card company in an atttempt to recover my stolen money. The customer services department, and I use the term cautiously, are out of touch with what's happening or just print lies, I@ll leave you to decide.
I recommend appliance group
I have used the appliance group 3 times now and find them to be cheaper, great products and great costumer service. They give you an actual time slot for delivery (not the usual 7-7 vague slot) and you can see where they are on the app. The delivery guys were very helpful. Would recommend
No refund after 7 weeks.
Ordered a washing machine in Feb. Was told in April it was delayed. Cancelled the item and bought elsewhere. Asked for a refund in April. For the last 7 weeks I’ve been told weekly it will be in my account by ‘X’ date and it’s never happened. 7 weeks after canceling my order I’m still down with no money. Stay away from this company.
