I have 12 weeks I have applied for merchant machin I have called more than 50 times they don’t give you any answer also they say you can’t cancel the worst service in the UK ever seen I would not recommend anyone to open a account

If you have a problem
99% of the time if the service is working you will have no problem at all with this company, however if you are unfortunate enough to have a problem, good luck getting it fixed. We have been without a working card machine for over a week costing us circa £25 -£30,000 in lost business, can you get through to someone who is able to actually action or solve the problem, absolutely not, I'm not interested in running through the reset procedure for the 50th time, I need you to send me out another card machine, its in your interests as well. The only, and I mean the only way of getting anyone vaguely capable of solving your problems is to threaten to cancel your contract with them, at which point you will be told that its two working days to get anything sent out (we are 7 days in), or you will be told "I need to find that out, can we call you back shortly", and guess what that call never comes. I don't normally leave reviews, I don't think its particularly constructive venting online, however for £30000 I will make an exception. Please save yourselves the hassle.

Gary Deal was extremely helpful and resolved our card Machine within 10 minutes of being on the phone. The main telephone line, however, I still never spoke to anyone after being on the phone throughout the day over 4 hours (several phone call attempts) on hold!! Our card machine was down for 3 days, so thanks to Gary personally fixing it we are back up and running.

Terrible - avoid. Missold a terminal - was told £99.99, and no membership fees. I signed a paper which was subsequently changed to 299.99. A digital copy was sent to me and they'd grafted my signature onto it from a separate direct debit agreement. I've never received a terminal They are now chasing me for payment for a service they havnt given> Im writing to the ombudsman and reporting them to the police for fraud. Avoid these people like the plague.

Failure after failure
We had a machine from RMS but the contactless facility stopped working a number of months ago - manual card entries still worked. We telephoned RMS over a week ago now and we are now on ourt 4th machine replacment in a week because the machines which were sent to us were all faulty and stuck in a rebooting loop. We have today received our 4th machine, inserted the new sim card provided by RMS and again installation of the machine is failing with "Cannot contact gems, contact helpdesk". We are a busy sea front hotel in blackpool which has been unable to process card paymenrts for over a week now which is seriously impacting our income and business reputation. I'm as I type this, stuck on the phone to an overseas call centre which is reading a script to me and going through all the stuff I've tried already. I'm totally at the end of my tether with no way to speak to any UK Teams to get us up and running. Can someone please contact us and resolve this string of failures. - The Headlands Hotel, Blackpool 2100163202 —--------- Update as of 10pm.... Spoke to another two advisors today and spent three hours on the phone to this company. The first advisor spent an hour with me, told me there was a glitch in their system and that they would call me back... No call back. The second advisor advised the sim card is again broken and now need a new one.... Again. Very unlikely as the terminal was communicating confirming data connection. At the end of this call, the machine ended up constantly rebooting. I have very little faith that the new sim card they told me would be with me next day will arrive or even resolve this issue. When asked if we can just connect the machine to the WiFi which we have throughout the building, I was told this is not possible, despite their own website saying the machine is capable of using WiFi. We are a 50 room hotel, in peak season with a busy hotel and bar which can at the moment take zero card payments! I've asked for a callback from the UK team which has been promised as im getting absolutely no where with RMSs overseas scripted call centre. I'll update this post later today with a further update. RMS if you are reading this, please get in touch, you have a customer at the end of their tether and has lost thousands in sales with seemingly no way of resolving and just going round in circles whilst my business is being income and reputation is destroyed due to this incompetence.

Great experience from the start to finish. Abs supported us all the way and was always handy to make sure he supported us with any questions as well as the install. We were very slow with some of the basic questions but abs managed to talk us through it over the phone as well as the other staff. Recommended to everyone.
