Excellent all round performance.

The delivery time from order to receipt of goods was exceptional, only three days. Most courteous delivery personnel who had everything setup in only 6-minutes. The quality was every bit as good as I hoped it would be.

Great Relief From Cerebral Palsy Muscle Spasms

As a 49 year old lady with severe Cerebral Palsy, my entire body is in constant spasm (similar to running a marathon +/- 16 hours a day.) It is painful and it is exhausting. It took less than 2 weeks from the time I contacted the Recliner Factor to the time I received my massage/heat recliner, tailor made according to my specifications and needs. I received the highest professional experience from Leanne, the lady at the call centre to Jerry who came from two hours away to give me an actual demonstration, discussed what I needed from my chair, took down my specifications and really showed that my best interests were what mattered. Upon receiving my personalised chair, Stuart and Brian delivered and installed my chair for me and made sure that I was familiarised with all it’s functions. Words cannot express how my chair is giving me so much muscular relief. Thank You everyone at Recliner Factory, you are changing lives one chair at a time.

Absolute pleasure!

Brian and Stuart were the most amazing team, not just delivering my new bed, but dismantling my old. Because of extended length of new bed, they built it in a new requested position in the room, but not before vacuuming the emptied space, and moving some pieces of large furniture for me. I am elderly with health issues, and an early visit was not the best for me, but they took care of everything, it was a joy. On completion Brian explained the bed to me and the handsets... I couldn't have asked for a better service. Absolute gentlemen!!!

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. I never leave reviews but I have been left so angry at the lack of aftersales service and total lack of care for my mothers situation. My mum bought the chair without my knowledge just over three years ago. This company definitely took advantage of her because she believed that she paid £1300 for it. Three weeks ago the main mechanism of the chair collapsed, rendering it useless.I knew that the warranty was up so I called a chair specialist out to look at it. He said it was easy for him to fix and would only take about an hour to do. He advised me to contact this company to order a new mechanism. Last Friday I phoned the company and the man I spoke to would not discuss any details with me because I didn't have my mothers permission to do so. He wanted to phone her for permission but because she is deaf I had to phone back on Monday morning in her presence. On the Monday I found her paperwork for the chair and was shocked to find that the chair actually cost her £2600. She didn't remember paying £1300 twice. When I phoned on the Monday I explained that I'm now with my mother and she will give you permission to speak to me. The girl then said " Yes ok, how can I help you?" without actually speaking to my mother for permission. I explained the problem with the chair and I would like to order a new mechanism please. I did ask for some sort of goodwill claim because of how much my mother paid but because it was 4 months out of warranty she said no. So I said ok I will just buy the part off you now please. She replied with, no they don't sell that part. I then replied that they seen my mother coming and ripped her off. I was then transferred to a girl call Olivia. I explained that I have a chair specialist ready to change the part and all I want is to buy it. She then explained that she will have to find out the availability and price for the part and get back to me. I waited all day and no call back. I waited until Tuesday afternoon to call back. Oliver answered again. I ask if she had any word on the price and availability. She said she emailed the factory but no reply. I explained that this is an urgent situation because of my mother's legs being extremely swollen and could I contact the factory myself. She said that she was the only person I could speak to and said she would email them again. Wednesday came and went with no call. I phoned again yesterday morning and Olivia answered again. I asked what was happening and she said she has still had no reply. She didn't apologise in any way and the tone on her voice just showed me that she didn't give a damn about my mother and her predicament. She made no attempt to contact them by phone and told me that she will email the factory again. I waited until my dinner break in work today to phone back. Olivia was out so I spoke to a different girl who told me that they are still waiting for a reply. I lost my temper and told her that if I didn't get reply with the price and availability of the part by 4pm I would take matters further. It took less than 10 minutes for someone else to phone me back with the price but there was a problem. The mechanism for my mothers 3 year old chair was now obsolete and they have a modified mechanism. Therefore they could not sell me the part and the only way to get my mothers chair repaired was to have it picked up, repaired by them and returned. I ask how much extra that would cost and how long it would take. She replied that it would be an extra £250 to the £400 part and it would take at least two weeks to fix. It took a whole week and 6 phone calls to get information that took only 10 minutes to find out. I told her that was totally unacceptable, giving my mother's condition. I told her that I probably won't get back to her so here I am wasting my precious time writing this review instead of visiting my father in hospital. I am now forced to spend at least another £2000 of her money tomorrow to get her a new chair ASAP. Totally shocking service. I'm definitely going to trading standards about this matter.
