I'm Hertz Gold and have nothing bad to say about Hertz as I have used them without trouble around the world for 40 odd years; but this time I needed a car for a one way trip from Auckland to Wellington. I checked Hertz and other companies (I'm a member of a few) and Omega were a little less than /2 price. I booked but to be honest didn't expect too much; HOWEVER the service from start to finish was brilliant; and car was what I would have expected from a major company. Congrat.s to the team at Omega, you made my chance to give my old mate from Antarctic days in the 70's a true bucket list success.

Our experience was excellent the staff were always helpful. There seemed to be a hitch when I wanted to hire another car and I was unable to book except on line. The cars were very comfortable *and economical. I would definitely use Omega again.

The car we received was well maintained and what we requested. Staff were amazing at Queenstown and pick up and drop off of our rental was fuss free and easy - 100% will book with Omega again next time we are in NZ.

Good service. The procedures to formalize the hiring is easy and fast, without any problems. The car provided is exactly what we had choosen during the booking. Also during our journey in New Zealand the support of Omega has been excellent. Due to bad weather, Bluebridge in Wellington cancelled all trips to the Southern Island and this could create a chain reaction in our travel program which included transferring the car by ferry and moving from one place to another every day. Omega helped us, and after a long negotiation, the employee in Wellington managed to get a place for us with Interislander (the other ferry company). A note about the location: the Omega's offices in Auckland Airport are not located at the airport, so you are forced to reach them by taxi or call their shuttle by phone, and this is not convenient for those arriving from abroad because it requires you to buy a local telephone SIM to make that call (perhaps the only one for your entire journey)

It is NOT on airport. I always pay the premium to get a vehicle on airport because of the time it saves at the start and end of a trip. However, while listed on airport, the return location is about 5-10 away and then you have to wait for a shuttle. I was given no instructions for this (looked through return instructions several times, only showed after hours), went to the airport return location only to find out I had to be somewhere else. Then, they drop you off at a random spot that is not the departures drop off, but another 5-10 minute walk. This things added up to causing us to almost miss our flight home (got to plane with last boarding group), and caused a ton of stress.
