The overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend. Only point to mention was the validation process with photo ID. The scanning did not work and as a result, had to email a photo to myself. Not ideal when preparing to sit an exam. Other than that, the whole experience was really enjoyable.

A Wonderful Experience
I had a lot of technical issues trying to check into the exam, but the examiner was very patient and supportive. He guided me and made sure everything was okay and I was able to take the exam. Once the exam started, everything went on smoothly until the end, and just within 24 hours, I already have my certificate and the official statement of results. Everything about PeopleCert is indeed top-notch.
Really fair and helpful.

Expiring certificates retroactively
Expiring certificates what were issued without expiry dates should be illegal. When purchasing the ITIL and Prince2 exams back in 2019/2020 they were sold as no expiry dates. Retroactively PeopleCert decided they are no longer making money and to expire everyone after 3 years, with no other benefits. The scam now is for you to pay them £120 a year so they automatically add another 3 years to your certificate, why? - Just because they have no governing body and are a money grabbing business. ITIL and PRINCE2 are not worth recertifying for a piece of paper which is seemingly worthless as they'll change its value whenever they like.
PeopleCert have killed ITIL. Well done.
Having taken a number of ITIL foundation + intermediate courses over the years I'm done. The forced expiry of V4 certs was the final nail in the coffin, the awful experiences with the Examshield proctoring software and the ever-increasing prices were the others. Ever since PeopleCert took over administering the certification it's been on a downward trajectory. On the plus side it does mean I won't need to take any more ITIL certs. It's a shame because as a framework I prefer v4 to v3 which was too rigid and used primarily to reinforce bureaucratic business practices.
Bad Experience
The customer experience is definitely bad for ITIL 4 Foundation exam with PeopleCert. From the registration, mock exam and the certificate notification, I experienced a number of problems. The customer service can't provide any information about the registration and the package. The mock exam is not available after I subscribed it. The certificate notification email is pointing to the wrong link and I must logon the account and access the certificate correctly. Fortunately, I can still access and pass the exam. I also can share the certificate in my LinkdedIn profile. That is the reason I can give 2 stars.
