Read the reviews FROM OTHER LAWYERS…

Read the reviews FROM OTHER LAWYERS (not those seeking free advice and not from people who use NOLO for forms and the like), they are universally 1 star. Take the hint. I only wish I found this site BEFORE I paid for leads. The deserve less than zero stars, and based on their comments, they know its crap.

Attorneys stay away from this company

I would never do business with Martindale Nolo. Although they asked me to try them for a month and charged me $1,062 for 20 legal leads, they charged me another $1,062 just 8 days later. They kept sending me useless leads Attorney Marshal Garmo

Attorneys: Avoid the Pay Per Lead Service. It is Trash

The leads are trash. The leads are from people who can’t afford even the most modest of fees (at least half already had court appointed counsel and were declared indigent), fake/spam sources, were people seeking free legal advice who would lie on their submissions, or from consumers who don’t understand what practice area they need and select the wrong option (example: a crime victim mistakenly asking for criminal defense lawyer to sue the perpetrator). Nolo will deny your request for a credit about half of the time even if it blatantly falls into one of the categories eligible for credit under their policy. The leads are basically people who Googled a generic lawyer phrase, found Nolo or one of its affiliate websites, was asked for their email, phone number, and what type of lawyer they were looking for, and it is then forwarded to a subscribing attorney without any other vetting or clarification. At $50-$60 per lead, it is not worth it in the slightest. There are better ways to invest your money.

Did not work for me.

I talked to some very nice NOLO representatives who were very convincing. Unfortunately, The product was no good. While I did get referrals all were a waste of time. Virtually all contacts had no money to pay even the lowest retainer. Some contacts appeared generated or fake. I signed up for one month only to try it out and was shocked when it auto renewed. I was out $1,200.00 got zero for it. They would not refund the auto renew. I do not recommend this company.

I signed up and was lied to

I signed up and was lied to. I was told that the program would not automatically renew and it has. Also, far too expensive and not worth the price.

Lawyers say no to my toxic mold cases that's killing my friend

Let me tell you if you want or need a lawyer for a big toxic mold case forget contacti h these people. I have tried getting a lawyer multiple times and they either dont contact me or if they do they say sorry can't help you. And I tell them I have all the evidence to win the cases and still no. Lawyers are suppose to help you but it seems they sure the hell dont want to help me. So sad.

Mostly fake and fraudulent leads in my opinion

In my opinion, these leads are mostly fake. A significant percentage of the leads come after 11 pm. This tells me Nolo may be paying people in Europe and Asia to fill out forms. The names, email addresses and comments tell me that the leads are written by people with poor command of English. It would be easy enough for NOLO to block foreign leads (as I do on my site) if they cared about fake leads. A few of the leads are real, but only Nolo knows that percentage. They sure aren't going to tell you which ones are fake. If the leads are systematically fake, they get away with it because we are mostly small firms that do not have the ability or time to review this. However, I would love to get a few of us together and start a class action against them. Please feel free to call me to discuss. Peter Grubea, 716-465-1415

Absolutely the biggest waste of money

Absolutely the biggest waste of advertising money in my 24 year legal career. I have been a Martindale Hubbell client for over 15 years and have been quite satisfied with their services. However, the partnership with Nolo is a failure and borderline scam and is causing me to revisit whether I want any association with the Martindale brand whstsoever.

This is a scam

This is a scam. A number of "Leads" I was provided confirmed that they hadn't been in accidents, had never submitted anything requesting a call for representation, and when I requested a refund providing documentation from a "lead" who had never submitted his email or phone number, hadn't been in any accident and actually lived about 2000 miles away confirming the fake lead, MartindaleNolo offered no refund and kept all of my money. They count on lawyers being too busy to sue.
