Very pleased with LED replacements for halogen bulbs in my kitchen. Smooth dimming and excellent light. Honest and helpful company I am sure I will use again.

I was looking to replace my GU10's with LED's and Well-Lit were recommended by a colleague. I initially purchased 4 LED replacements and was happy with their performance. One of them had a slight flicker when being dimmed. When I contacted Well-Lit they immediately dispatched a replacement and asked me to return the faulty one for investigation. After trying the bulbs out for a month or so I have replaced all the GU10's with LED's from Well-Lit (24 in total). This company repsonds quickly to communications and obvioulsy values their customers. I would be happy to recommend them and would buy from them again.

Following an article in the Daily Telegraph have purchased seven 5w GU10 LED Spots for our kitchen in 2 batches, the first batch to try them out being rather sceptical about the outcome. In the event the light quality is remarkable, softer than the 50w Halogens but illuminates just the same. The service from Well-Lit has also been of the best. Would recommend Well-Lit and their products to anyone.

Like others I saw the article in the telegraph and ordered some to try. The product is brilliant and so is the service. I shall be ordering more from this company.

In my lengthy search for a bulb that would produce more light than heat I finally came across "Well Lit" and realised that it WAS possible to produce a GU10 LED replacement that was superior to the filament bulb. I have tried about a dozen different types of LED GU10 bulbs all claiming to give the equivalent output of a filament GU10 but nobody has got anywhere near these. Some being sold by a well known DIY shop are an absolute disgrace. The old adage "you only get what you pay for" very much applies to these particular bulbs. They are'nt cheap but they are really very good. They are so good that nobody realises they are not filament bulbs. I've also now tried the candle bulbs and they too are fantastic, so now will I not only save loads of electricity, I wont have to keep changing blown bulbs.

I'd had two or three different brands of LED in my kitchen. My wife hated them (and so did I, truth be told). Then I came across these following a report in the Daily Telegraph. I fitted them (8 of) and she thought I had reverted to old fashioned halogens. I let her think this (and say "I told you so") for a full 2 months before I confessed ! They are actually better than halogen - a more pleasant light. I've since fitted 8 in my Study and a further 3 in my bathroom. 10 out of 10 - cannot recommend them highly enough !

I can't speak highly enough of this company, I've recommended them to everyone who comments on the LED spotlights in our kitchen. We had a faulty bulb and as well as being extremely apologetic, it was replaced really quickly without any problems. I will not get bulbs from anywhere else.

TrustPilot says 5* means I would recommend this company to anyone - and it's true, I actually do recommend them to friends who are (or should be) looking to switch from halogen spots to LED. I remember my first experience with LED replacements for halogen spotlights. My housemate bought some cheap 'bargain' online, wanting to lower the energy consumption in our big kitchen, a motivation that I couldn't argue with. One by one, as the halogen bulbs went, he replaced them with the LED bulbs, and our kitchen was slowly plunged into a dingy gloom reminiscent of public toilets that are lit with blue lights to discourage the use of needles. In the end, when I could stand it no longer, I bought a set of slightly higher priced ebay LED spots at my own cost, and was sad to discover that they weren't a great deal better. Ever since then I've noticed how widespread it now is to replace beautiful halogen spotlights with substandard low-energy alternatives. From fuzzy, low-definition fluourescent-based replacements, to LED fittings that have cold, unpleasant blue colours and unappealing angles of illumination. Now a home-owner myself, I haven't been willing to compromise on aesthetics, and for a long time I kept up the hunt for a low-energy spotlight that would pass the test of being indistinguishable from halogen. I was tempted by the passionate tone of Well-Lit's twitter feed and website, and they sent me some samples. For the first time I was convinced. Here at last are GU10s that use only 5 or 7w and that I am still prepared to have in my home. They pass the test, the light they give off is great, and they last longer than halogens. And although they are several times the cost of a halogen GU10, I calculated that with just a few hours' use each day they would pay for themselves in under two years. So I bought Well-Lit replacements for all my halogens! And my home really is well lit. It's not just the product that has convinced me, though. I've also been highly impressed with Well-Lit's personal customer service and their no-quibble replacement policy (I was unfortunate enough to receive a couple of lights from a faulty batch). This is how businesses ought to be run: by people who visibly care about getting their product right, and who will pull out all the stops to make sure their customers are happy. If my review seems somewhat over-effusive, it's because the contrast to other companies with which I have to deal is just so dramatic. What a breath of fresh air.
