The best colour Bulbs

We have tried various LED bulbs and they always seem to give off a horrible grey tone; we ordered some from here and they are amazing and you can't tell the difference in colour from our non LED bulbs. We have just had an extension built and decided to go the whole hog and purchase a bulb for every spot light in the house; they are very helpful and have helped us out wth our order. highly recommend this company and it's products.

Excellent bulbs and excellent service

There's nothing more to add really. I'm someone who does A LOT of research and prior to purchasing LED spots for my new flat renovation I read up on LED light qualiy, accurate lighting conditions for excellent make-up application, lumens, CRI, beam angles etc. and these were the best on the market. They were also a decent price which was good. Customer service was excellent-they even went as far as taking photos of the different types of lights I was interested in, so I could compare and delivery was prompt! The lights (esp the 4000 kelvin 5w gu10 spot) made my bathroom sparkle. I've chosen the 2700 kelvin for the bedroom which is a warmer light. Loved the personal service. Lights are good quality. I cannot encourage others more to research their goods. It really pays off.

Great products and great service

I stumbled across Well-Lit last year when I was looking to replace 6 Halogen GU10 bulbs in a dark corridor where the lights are constantly on. It was a refreshing website to find after being bamboozled by other sites and 'buyer beware' reports online and in the press about the quality of some LED bulbs. I immediately noticed that the colour and quality of the light was amazing and so too did several visitors who wanted to know what bulbs they were. Next I bought 12 MR16 bulbs for our kitchen. Their customer service was second to none when it turned out that the bulbs were interfering with our radio signal and Well-Lit didn't hesitate to replace them for GU10 bulbs when we upgraded the fittings. Since then I've been a loyal Well-Lit customer. I've just had delivery of 42 bulbs for a large open plan living space and the light is so good I've decided it is time to upgrade all the halogens in the house to Well-Lit LEDs. Can't recommend them enough - with a 365 day money back guarantee you've got nothing to lose!

Great products and customer service

I needed to replace 20 GU10 lights and I bought a few LED replacements in stores like B&Q and the like only to understand that they were not worth considering in terms of quality and cost. I came across well-lit through an online review and initially ordered 5 of them and was very impressed with them so I bought another 15. After a while I also bought 3x 7W dimmable bulbs plus 3x3W candle bulbs and my flat is now completely LED lit... and my electricity bill is now so low that it looks like a joke, and lights are even brighter than the original halogen lights but using a fraction of the power consumed. I had a few failed items in their early and they have been replaced in a blink of an eye. I already recommended well-lit to friends and colleagues, it's a great investment under any point of view.

I am now 100% LED!

It has taken me a couple of years of slowly swapping any blown Halagen spotlights with a new LED spots. Well-Lits 'next day' delivery has been great in this regard. Well-Lit’s bulbs are true halogen replacements, it is only when you see the new LEDs next to the old Halogens that you know its worth the investment. The most important lesson has been using Warm White LEDs, that matches the colour of the old-fashioned tungsten Halogen bulbs.

Happy Customer

Previously tried a Crompton 5W GU10 3000K, 50 deg 400 lumens. Light a bit too white. Also looked like a cluster of LEDs Then ordered 2 Well lit 5W LED GU10 60 deg 460 lumens. Warmer light and looks like an normal bulb. happy enough that I ordered 6 more, including replacing the Crompton. But, and only minor buts, but the company(co-founder) asked for a review so here it is. 1.) "made to fit a standard 50w Halogen GU10 fitting for ease of replacement " according to the website, and while it is true they do fit, it is not quite a like for like replacement in terms of its physical size. They are about 3mm longer than the original conventional bulbs. Can't notice when light is on, but it is visible during the day. Seems a shame they make a bulb that is ALMOST the same dimension. The dimensions are not on the website for the 5W (who measures light bulbs), though the dimensions are on the website for the more expensive 7W - slightly shorter and so probably a better like-for-like fit with a traditional bulb.To be fair the dimensions are on the bulb packaging but it is a bit late when they arrive . Ok there is a good returns policy, but life it too short - it is not a critical flaw! . 2) Suggestion - There is a white rim (clearly visible on the website of course). If the rim has to be visible for engineering reasons, then a bare metal (coloured) version would make sense as many of the existing fittings are of this type. Still, happy to be enjoying the 90% savings for the next 25,000 hours ;-)

I know it seems too good to be true...

... and you think people maybe don't know what they're talking about when they say Well Lit's bulbs are true halogen replacements. I was the same. I honestly thought "I bet I can tell the difference..." Well, I can't. The products are quite simply indistinguishable from halogens - the quality of light is beautiful; no greenish tinge or lack-lustre colours and the end result is the same great lighting but an 85% energy saving. Already replaced all 20 bulbs in the new kitchen... and now I've ordered 12 more for the bathrooms. Wonderful next-day delivery service, and friendly, nothing-too-much-trouble customer service from Bujar. 1000% recommended!

five star service

I cannot speak highly enough about Well Lit, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. The customer service I received was exceptional- the manager was friendly and helpful, and really went out of his way to make sure I was happy. I received my purchase within one day, and the quality of the LED bulb was fantastic. I had previously bought a Philips bulb, and was disappointed. Well Lit took the time to discuss my lighting needs and found out exactly what I required. Lots of people in the office have commented on the quality of the new lighting, and we will only buy from them in the future. Thank you Well Lit!

Only LED that replace Halogens & Incadescents

After trying numerous LED's in the past year, these are the only ones i have found that are as good as standard bulbs in terms of colour of light. Spent time talking with Chris and as i was sceptical after bad experiences he said he'd put some in a box and send them to me for me to look out without taking any payment. As i previously stated they work a treat and you cannot tell them from my previous older bulbs. One thing to note is that i did need to change my wall dimmer for the spotlights to dim properly, which cost about £45 including installation, so can be a bit more complicated then simply taking one out and putting another in. Overall i'm delighted and i hope they last the advertised life as the other i had didn't. Nice to find a genuine company with great people.

Great products backed by exceptional customer service.

Whilst doing research on LED GU10 replacements I found this company through a genuinely independent blog written by someone that also researched LED GU10 spots for personal use. Both Chris and Bujar have been really helpful and have responded promptly to e-mail queries. Bujar also gave me call to discuss my lighting requirements after which he sent me a few samples which arrived the following day. The 7W GU10 LED spot is an excellent product if colour rendering is important. It has a slightly yellowish colour but all in all it creates a very nice warm atmosphere and colours looks more vibrant. Friends found it hard to tell the difference between the LED and Halogen spots. The 5W 2700k GU10 LED spot is an ideal replacement if you are looking for a spot that provides an excellent spread of light and do not mind the CRI. It is also slightly brighter than the 40W 560 lumens GU10 halogen spots that I used to use. The 11W LED Bulb is brilliant. Since finding it I do not even consider buying CFL or halogen bulbs. To date I have bought 5x 11W LED bulbs and 8x 7W GU10 LED spots and plan to buy more in the very near future. You do pay a bit more but you get great products backed by a 3 years warranty, a 365 day returns policy and exceptional customer service. I highly recommend Well-Lit.
