I had been looking for a long while to find LED replacements for my R63 spots. Finding a dimmable R63 that works without having to replace the dimmer switch was extremely difficult. Then I stumbled on Well-Lit and my search was over. My order was received in double quick time and I fitted the bulbs immediately. I have been pleasantly surprised at the warmth of the output, and for an advertised 40watt equivelant they were easily as bright as the 60 watt R63's I was replacing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Well-Lit to anyone looking to replace their incandescant or halogens.

I have bought LEDs from a number of companies, but I was never happy with the light quality. The wife refused to have them in the kitchen where we have about 10 downlights, and which we have on pretty constantly! Hence biggest savings for switching to LED! Found the well-lit bulbs through recommendations on web. They are the closest you'll get to halogens. Order the 7w dimmable and you won't be disappointed! Bit pricey compared to some other companies, but you get what you pay for!

Well lit is a small company that provides high quality led bulbs at a very moderate price. Thay have a nice warm color 2700 k which is same as a halogen light not the colder 3000 k light which is often described as a warm by their competitors. But the main advantage of the lamps is that they have a colour index greater than 90% which is much better than any other bulb at any where near the price. This means they give out a natural light and there are no nasty green or purple hues that you get with many Leds. Service and delivery was all excellent. I wanted an LED version of reflector spots, and found it with Well-Lit. A simple to use web site. Excellent knowledge and service with prompt delivery; and the product gives the best LED illumination that I have so far found. Very happy to recommend.

I run a decorating company which refits offices, and we have to get new lighting fitted from time to time. We have used well-lit before and have always received top quality GU10s and excellent service from this company. LED is the future it will just take a little time for everyone to catch up and see the saving they can make using these bulbs. Do not buy cheap bulbs, as this company sell the best. I bought one 7W GU10 from these to test it against competitors' lamps with which I had been disappointed. The real test was whether my partner could tell the difference between the LED and the halogen. Exactly the same brightness both at full power and when dimmed, the same size in the holders and the same warmth and, just as importantly, depth of colour as the original 50W halogens. I promptly bought 6 more to replace all my lamps! My one criticism is that while halogens give out a warmer (slightly orange) light when dimmed, these remain the same colour, but this could be seen as an advantage depending on your opinion. My one regret is that I messed around with five other lamps before trying these.

I first bought two 11 watt LED light bulbs to replace my existing 100 watt incandescent bulbs. I have tried other energy saving bulbs and been very disappointed with the time taken to warm up and with the awful white light produced. The well-lit 11 watt LED bulbs produce a warm light very similar to that of an incandescent bulb and the brightness seems to be not far off that of an old 100 watt bulb. I was impressed enough to buy a further four LED bulbs. The service from the company has been very good and the bulbs arrived well packed and undamaged.

Yesterday (Friday 10th Jan) I asked if they had any remaining stock of a discontinued product; this morning (Saturnday) a box of them arrived on my doorstep. I have used this company to source my LED bulbs for the last year or so, and have always found them extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. In addition I have also found their products to be excellent as well - always the best available. Their original LED spotlights were excellent, and they have replaced them with an even better one, whilst I have found their 'ordinary' LED light bulbs ideal to replace the old style 75 and 100w bulbs. OK, they may not be the cheapest around, but the service and guarantee are well worth it.

Saw a review in the paper and decided to try Well-Lit as I hated the cold light given by the (more expensive) LED bulbs I was using. Helpful advice from Chris so purchased two bulbs and was delighted, and still am, to have warm light in my hall again. One bulb failed in a couple of days and when I rang a replacement was posted the same day - and I didn't have to send the old one back. Will be buying more. Judy B

I had spent ages trying to find a decent LED GU10 spot for the kitchen. After many frustrating purchases from other shops, I came across well-lit. Firstly I was amazed by their customer service, they sent me two GU10 bulbs to trial. Having made my choice I ordered a full set and the bulbs were dispatched quickly. They have made a real difference. Energy efficient, superb brightness (identical to halogen bulbs) but a better light in my view. They really show the kitchen and tile colours off in a way halogen never did. I rarely complete reviews, but for well-lit I am making an exception. Old style customer first service but top range modern led bulbs. I Have no hesitatation in recommending them.
