As with all of us, our energy bills are increasing, so I decided that I would replace our incandescent with LED light bulbs. To start with I bought from ebay, then when they turned out to be utter rubbish, so I tried Amazon, when they turned out not to be much better searched the web to find the answer. I came across the below very helpful review (seach JonTank GU10), which reviewed a few different GU10 light bulbs, EnergySavingLED – or Well Lit as they are now known, won best company and won best product. Out of the two GU10’s reviewed, I went for the more expensive (which aren't available at the moment - the ones around the £30 mark) and I have never been so happy with a product or a company. Their products are the best I have come across and their customer service is better than John Lewis!

I bought some 11w & 7w LED Bulbs from well-lit and i ended up sending the 11w versions back as the 7w was so good. I’ve used the 7w to replace all the 40w & 60w incandescent bulbs in my house and they are absolutely first class. Both my wife and i cannot tell the LED Bulbs apart from the incandescents, even when we have a mixture in the same room. I’ve tried LED bulbs before from led hut but they are not in the same league as these despite not being much cheaper. The bulbs from well-lit are bright, dim perfectly and the emitted light is the same quality as an incandescent. To be able to replace a 60w incandescent with a 7w LED and not even notice the difference is testament to the product and well-lit.

I bought gu10 down lights for the kitchen and was pleased with the power and quality of lighting.unfortunately a couple of them blew and Icontacted well-lit for replacements.my bulbs had been replaced by a superior design and they said I must have a whole new set so that the kitchen retained a balanced quality of light.Service of that quality certainly put a smile on my face and so I would unhesitatingly recommend well-lit for both service and product.

I have made several purchases from Well-Lit after talking to them and taking advice on what I need. Their advice has been sound and I can also confirm that they honour their guarantees in the event of problems, without question.

I phoned the shop as I was unsure which GU10 LED's to purchase. I was patiently led through the pros and cons. The 20 minute call was most helpful and I was never hurried. I eventually made a choice but said I was still rather unsure if the colour and beam angle were exactly what we wanted. When our order arrived we discovered that the company had also included two alternative sets of 4 LED's for us to try that had a different colour and beam angle. Now we could set about trying each type in turn and made our final selection with total confidence as they were being tried out in the actual room they were for! Being sent these alternatives was very much appreciated. Thank you Well Lit!

It is rare to find a company that will give such excellent and generous after care. After only one email from me regarding a failed LED unit that had failed. So, a while ago, and over a period of a few months, I had converted all 16 spots in my office with the 5/6Watt units from energy saving LED. I was very pleased with them. A couple failed, and replacements were sent out very quickly. Then about a month or less ago, another one failed, and I sent an email saying that I thought this spot was still under guarantee, could I have a replacement. The next day, I received a phone call saying that because the LED's they stocked were now Warm White (not Cool White like my old ones), they would replace all my units. They had seen that I'd ordered 16 spots previously, and so generously said they'd replace them all, and that I could keep the old ones and use them as I wished!! Well, call me daft, but I said that wasn't necessary! Just a replacement of one LED would have satisfied me. But no, they wished to replace them all. And sure enough, in a couple of days, 16 brand new LED's turned up, and I have the old ones to use in other parts of the house. Honestly, I was astounded at the generosity, kindness, and service they have given. Exceptional in these days, and sure to make me return to them whenever I need more spots or other LED's. I would thoroughly recommend them, for service, for the quality of their products, and for the overall value for money that comes from a company that will treat you well, and make sure that you're satisfied. I rarely if ever give feedback to companies but in the case of EnergySavingLED, I feel I must. Here's my story: Last year I took the plunge and replaced all my halogen spotlights with LED GU10s from EnergySavingLED. I'd done some research on the internet and these bulbs seemed to be the best there were. It was an act of faith and a costly investment but I'm glad to say that the light quality was outstanding. No-one would believe they were LEDs. "Money well spent" I thought. I was impressed by the speed of delivery too. Roll the clock forward six months, and I'd moved into a gloomy rented house in a very remote area of the Scottish Highlands - no LED bulbs to be seen. I needed something magic to lighten up a dark kitchen and my budget was very tight. Following a short email exchange with Chris (the main man), a choice of bulbs arrived at the rented house on spec - no charge. "Blimey. That's very trusting" I thought. We did a trial in our now-not-quite-so-gloomy-kitchen, and one parcel exchange later (with payment via Paypal) our kitchen lighting was sorted. Within a week. Again, great products. More importantly, fantastic service. Roll the clock forward another 3 months and my tenant (who's renting the house with the first LED bulb purchase) reported problems with the GU10 LED spots. Damn! I phoned EnergySavingLED on Friday morning. Chris (the main man again) phoned back within 15 minutes and explained there had been a faulty batch: he'd tried to contact every customer but I'd slipped through the net - very apologetic. He'd send replacement bulbs to my old address (note that he'd worked that out for himself i.e. none of this automatically-send-to-the-customer's-current-address nonsense). No charge. No need for my tenant to send the old bulbs back. The new bulbs should arrive early the following week. "Wow. That's great service" I thought, and told the tenant to expect them early the following week. By Saturday lunchtime (i.e. LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER), they'd been delivered and fitted. This time I was rendered speechless - a rare thing. I wonder how EnergySavingLED will surpass this latest level of service: same day delivery from Huddersfield to the northwest Highlands by private jet, perhaps? EnergySavingLED's products are superb. I am an LED bulb convert but will only buy them from this company (and I urge others to do likewise). As important, if not more so, their customer service is exemplary. They are a pleasure to deal with, which is a rare experience these days. I cannot commend them and their products highly enough. Although one of the products was faulty, what matters is how they dealt with it. Efficiently and honestly. What more can you ask for?

I was unsure whether LED spot bulbs would be suitable for my kitchen so emailed them. For a really helpful reply from the MD within the hour, so ordered on that basis. The bulbs were even better than expected. Plus if there was any problems their one year returns policy is exceptional. Highly recommended.

Concerned about the running cost of GU 10 bulbs, we bought some LED's from Energy Saving LED. Having been disappointed with other LED's we didn't expect the light given to be spectacular - it was primarily because of costs. But how wrong can you be! We were so impressed we immediately ordered enough to replace all our GU 10's. We have 5w Spot LED's in Warm White, and they give a brilliant warm glow - completely discernible from conventional GU 10's. We cannot recommend them highly enough. The speed and efficiency of the company's staff is exceptional - a thoroughly recommendable product from all points of view!

After conducting much research into LED spot lights for our new Kitchen we opted for EnergysavingLED's new 5W natural white spots. They give off an excellent light and are extremely well priced compared to others on the market. The customer service provided by Chris was second to none and I would certainly purchase from this company again and recommend to anyone thinking of changing over to LED lighting.
