They are hiding information. After I use my phone opened nustay by google, I read all the basic hotel information, but the lowest part of that page was keep loading, so I scrolled up to the top of the page and hit book the cheapest room directly. However, on that page there is no description about the room only the payment information. So I booked based on the hotel information, I have never expected the room I paid 800$ for four nights are shared bathroom. Therefore, I booked without hesitate. However, 2 minutes later, I received the email confirmation said it is shared bathroom. I was completely shocked, and I contacted them by email, they reply really fast, they said they have to connected with hotel to cancel the booking. On the next 3 days, I contacted them multiple times they said due to timezone different, hotel didn't reply, so they can not issue my refund, I have to wait them contact hotel. Till now, my trip will start today, they finally send me email at today's 4 AM said, they can not refund my money because the hotel didn't approve. The problem is on website blurry/hiding information, shouldn't Nustay take responsibility to their unclear information? This hiding information action is cheating and harm other customers, if you don't clearly let your customers know the bathroom is shared. How are you gonna to protect and take responsible to the other sharing bathroom costumers? If someone have sexual disease such as gonorrhea, which is not OK to share the shower place. You hide the information, they mistake booked and announced you to cancel the booking, and you still refuse to cancel the booking, so they have to share the shower with other costumers. If anything happened to others who can take this responsibility? I have immediately contacted them to cancel after I received the confirm letter, I emailed them and stated my health problem 3 days ago, after 30 emails sent. This morning 4 AM, their senior customer service specialist emailed me, refused to refund the money or change it to a private bathroom. I am extremely disappointed. All they want is get your money, other things, they don't care at all.

Seriously, Nustay gave me wrong information, the website didn’t describe the room I booked is shared bathroom. After, I booked that, they told me the bathroom is shared. And I contacted them to cancel it. They just delaying and delaying. Keep me waiting. My trip will start tomorrow, and they still don’t have any solution or answers. I have no idea, tomorrow will I am going to sleep.

“Oh no! The price has changed a bit...”

I am having the same experience like many other clients - price change before payment (after filling card details): “Oh no! The price has changed a bit...” Here is what happened in my case (order 1035281662 which I didn’t complete): -prices are approximate- Market price: 200€ per night (incl. breakfast) Nustay initial price: 150€ per night (without breakfast) Nustay final price: 175€ per night (without breakfast) Basically at the end the price is still cheaper than the market one, but if you consider the lack of breakfast it is unsure if it’s cheapest at the end. Two stars for the idea, one star for the cheapest price at the end. Until there is no price freeze during the booking session completion and payment, would have disappointed customers.

yup, classical bait and switch. Once you fill in your payment info they come with the standardized message hiking price. This is illegal in America (US & Canada) as it is a recognized con, but I guess it is allowed here. Google should remove this site from their suggestions.

Nustay is a scam! liars! here is their reply on the site to my previous review! Reply from Nustay Hi Rubie, Your case was checked with the highest priority by our customer service team and the response was provided to you within 10 minutes after an inquiry was submitted - the booking was well recorded in the hotel system and the hotel was waiting for your arrival. my answer! i was already in the hotel! i arrived there prior to booking a room bec i needed a room! i was alread in the lobby of the hotel! Unfortunately, the hotel could not confirm that anyone tried to check-in under your reservation or your name. Due to no-show, the hotel marked a reservation as a no-show and applied a full charge to us. my answer: i was already in the font desk while booking the room with nustay. after i book it i talked to front desk and said no! couldnt find the reservation! and they are not in partnership with nu stay and infact hotel desk said they have not heard of nu stay! As you have never replied to us with the requested information about the time of your check-in attempt, name and position of the person who had advised you that no room could be provided as the hotel was fully booked, - the hotel partner has no reason for any internal investigation on their side. For this reason, we have to close the ticket and refuse your refund request. my answer! i have not replied? u never reached out to me! i emailed u guys minutes right away after i booked the room when front desk told me they don't my reservation and they were fully booked! good job! nustay! u scammed me! you are a liar! i was already in the hotel i was in the lobby sitting down on the cough in the hotel of manhattan while i was booking the room! i already asked the front desk if they have avail they said no! my bad bec i did not listen to them and i checked online and tried to see maybe they just don't allow walk in so i went online to book and i came across nustay and showed availability! i should have checked first the reviews before i went to book the room! infact the first time my bank failed the payment saying its fraud! stupid of me to try it again and book it because i was desperate i needed a room that day. i went to new york for a day trip and i need a room so bad i was stuck that night with no room! What a scam you are! i will get attorney to sue! i have every proof and camera in hotel shows the time i was there! karma will get you! you scammers are the worse!

N’utilisez jamais ce site , c’est une arnaque de À à Z... ils Vous vendent une nuit d’hôtel certe a un bon prix mais rien d’exceptionnel non plus . Une fois le paiement effectué, vous êtes sensé recevoir un voucher de l’hôtel dans les 10 minutes ( que vous ne recevrez jamais ) après 1h d’attente suite au paiement, j’ai en effet reçu un e-mail m’affirmant que je n’aurai pas mon voucher et que si je le voulais il fallait que je verse 50€ de plus car le prix de la chambre est sois disant monté entre temps. C’est un genre de technique commerciale qui peux s’apparenter à de l’extorsion de fond ... une enorme blague et une grosse arnaque qui arrive souvent sur leurs site si on en crois les autres avis. Faites attention à vous personnellement je viens d’introduire une plainte au près du CEC et j’espère que ce site fermera d’ici peu.

Nustay still has not issued my REFUND

I experienced the same bait and switch method as others. Nustay immediately took the funds from my account, emailed me 10 minutes later that the hotel did not have any rooms at the rate which I paid but Nustay was able to find a room that was $100+ more than what I initially spent. I did not want to upgrade so I asked for the funds to be redirected to my account. Alex Turner from Nustay informed me that the funds were simply on hold and that Nustay had immediately reverted the funds back to my account. I knew this information was flawed due to the fact it normally takes 3-7 business days for situations like this. I followed up with my banking institution this morning and was informed that Nustay did not revert the funds back to my account and that the charge was active and had actually been processed on their end. Of course, I tried to follow up with Alex and Nustay but to no avail. They are experiencing “high booking and call volumes” and all customer service agents are busy. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. Super inconvenient-
