Do not order to UK until they’ve fixed clear issues.

Same issues a lot of other people. I would avoid purchasing with the company if in the UK until they sort out their system. Multiple attempts to contact, phone calls, emails, live chat and Facebook. Initially got responses to say they are looking into re routing parcels but complete silence from then on. People ordered in good faith, we fully understand some delay with Brexit but that is no excuse for general poor communication and lack of information. Unsure where to go from here, bank are advising charge back if no response. I placed my order on the 2nd January and writing today on the 21st January. Genuinely in no rush for the item so happy to work with them, but that’s impossible if they decide to simply ignore.

Truly shocked & appalled.

As with many other reviews, I have received absolutely abysmal service. My order took well over the time stated due to getting stuck in customs. Whilst I was understanding of this due to the new Brexit guidelines, I was then hit with import taxes, which are totally incorrect as Tony Kealy’s is UK registered. They have accepted no responsibility for this, merely stating that they will not refund them and that ‘I shouldn’t have paid them’ - but was told I wouldn’t receive my item unless I did! When my order arrived - a 26kg armchair, it was delivered to my door, blocking my entry and exit, as the courier told me he could not bring it inside. At 9 months pregnant I had to get this inside and upstairs so that I would be able to access my front door. The company is ignoring all emails and has not offered anything in the way of an apology or solution. I’m truly shocked and saddened as the chair was a gift from my parents.

Avoid at all costs

A horrible company to deal with. Avoid at all costs. I have been waiting 4 weeks for a delivery and I cannot get any response from these crooks. Nobody answers the phone, no response on live chat and they are not responding to emails. I have been forced to get a reversal via my card provider. AVOID!!!!

Absolutely diabolical customer service…

Absolutely diabolical customer service I am receiving at present. My item has not been delivered due to unpaid import charges that I was assured would be paid and sorted within 24hours. DPD have returned my item. I have left multiple messages and emails with no response. My baby is due next week, I don’t know if they intend to redeliver or refund so have held off ordering from elsewhere as I don’t want to be charged to return the item if it does get resent. No communication at all. Disgusting. Order was placed 28th December! 21st Jan- Finally got a response and refund this afternoon after more emails, calls and posting on their Facebook. I think they are in the process of rectifying the situation, but it has not been handled at all well.

The customer service from Tony Kealys…

The customer service from Tony Kealys has been good. However, beware of delayed delivery times to the UK. I ordered on 1st Jan and my package is still going through the customs process so I am yet to receive it 2 weeks later!

Maybe it’s Brexit but very bad

Maybe it’s Brexit but we have been waiting weeks for our delivery, it still hasn’t arrived, and I just got an email from dpd informing me of a £50 import charge. Sorry but no. You need to warn your customers about this kind of thing instead of advertising free shipping on larger orders! Tony Kealys must have known about upcoming import charges post Brexit. I will definitely be pursuing a refund and asking dpd to send the order back to where it came from.
