My health troubles started about six months ago during the winter months. I just didn’t feel well. I had difficulty in swallowing, my breathing was uncomfortable, my chest felt tight and I developed a cough. I felt miserable and depressed. My cough got worse and eventually I couldn’t talk without coughing. I had a lot of stress in my life, but at the time I didn’t consider that my mind was in some way driving my physical illness. My GP referred me to an ENT specialist who diagnosed silent reflux who prescribed lansoprazole and Gaviscon to inhibit my stomach acid. I didn’t improve so I was then referred to a chest specialist who prescribed anti-asthma drugs that included an inhaled steroid. I still didn’t get better and then I had a chest X-ray (clear). In desperation I saw a Chinese Doctor (I am Chinese) who administered traditional acupuncture. She prescribed an array of Chinese herbs, each time I visited her. I was not getting any better. She suggested that I have thyroid tests. The results came back as normal. My mood was very low and I was getting no better. Because I had to travel to London to see the Chinese Doctor, I looked for an Acupuncturist who was local (I live near Watford). I discovered Andre. Andre is advertised as a practitioner of both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture. However, as I discovered, Andre offers so much more than acupuncture. He training and background include a degree in nutrition and he is skilled in communication techniques that include behavioural cognitive therapy (CBT). And so much more. But most of all he quietly listens and watches. When I walked into his home clinic I met this quietly spoken, gentle and calm man. It was this calmness that immediately relaxed me. During my sessions with Andre (I have now visited him six times) he patiently and quietly listened to my story. I felt at ease and told him about the stress in my life, that included several difficult personal relationships. As we had more sessions, he showed me how my mind and body must be allowed to work in harmony. He opened my mind and my heart and through his calm listening and gentle advice showed me how to take control of my life and become less angry and more forgiving while at the same time learning how to cherish myself (something I never did before). He gave me advice on herbs and flowers that when used in tea for example, help to calm and relax (he doesn’t sell these preparations but just passes on his vast knowledge). He taught me how to breathe, and how to use simple physical and mind techniques to help me relax and stay calm when dark thoughts try to take over. When I first went to visit Andre, I had just expected acupuncture. I had no idea of his vast training, skills, experience and patience, and that his methods would reach into my heart and mind and show me how to manage the stress in my life. Above all he taught me how I was letting my stress destroy my health. Before I met Andre, there were many times when if I spoke, this would spark an uncontrollable coughing attack. Now, I can talk normally without triggering a cough! I am so much better. But above all, I feel in control of who I am. I am not suggesting that Andre is an alternative to mainstream medicine. Andre is a Holistic therapist who has skills and training that are complementary, and that should be used alongside traditional Western medical practice. I recommend Andre wholeheartedly.

I have been struggling a long time with many things. When I went to see Andre he listened to me and took great attention regarding my problems we worked through the treatment which was required for me. I had covid last year in November and have struggled with long covid for a while . Even after the first treatment with Andre I felt a very big change in my body for the better. My 19-year-old granddaughter who has deep seated fear of being alone with a man spends happily two hours with Andre. My daughter and son-in-law have benefited from his treatments, and so I found myself at his door Thursday morning after 18 hours travelling the previous day. Why was I there? Where did it hurt? I had hardly landed and am in general a fairly healthy 75-year-old, but my daughter thought it a good pick me up after a strenuous journey. So, I imagined I would lie for an hour and a half with needles sticking out of me, bored as I am usually with acupuncture. But not this time, a treatment so unexpected, so different, and a therapist so disarming, kind, peaceful and yet surprisingly present. A few needles, frequent pulse checking, slight adjustment of the needles, nothing to write home about. But my experience of Andre’s treatment was so unexpected, and his accepting almost healing presence removed my sense of embarrassment. So, I left after 2 hours and found to my surprise that all the usual anxiety about my dealings with my family and friends and theirs with me had disappeared and I was left feeling lighter and more open and positive than I had felt in a long time in company with others (I spend at least half a year alone). Tomorrow I am seeing Andre again. No expectations, just a trust that the right things will happen. I went for a 2nd treatment, this time with a really bad back with pain going through my buttock and thighs as well. He massaged my back and treated me with needles. I left pain free, although still with stiffness. He is not a complete miracle worker, YET!

I have a chronic shoulder and upper back problem which exists for almost 10 years. After trying various medicines and surgery there are no signs of improvement. Then I hear about Andre. He is extremely warm, compassionate, honest and attentive; he is genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of his clients. After a few sessions, my body started reacting to his treatment. My second LFT comes better. Meanwhile, he suggested some dietary plans which play a vital role in digestion. He tried various techniques like Acupuncture, cupping, deep tissue and Moxa. UPDATE (09th Feb): 10 months into the treatment and overall pretty good most days these days. It's taken a while to get to this point, but with the diverse treatment and continual support, my body is much stronger to face up to moments where I encounter some lingering symptoms or niggles. UPDATE (26th June): 2 and a half months now of intense programme and big improvements in all round symptoms and wellbeing. It's important to keep going on and believing in Andre's work and in oneself 🙏 I have been working with Andre, for a few weeks now specifically addressing my “Long Covid” symptoms, having contracted the original virus over a year ago. The Long Covid aspect has given me residual dizziness, weakness and a lack of energy throughout the day. I am a very busy individual and don’t want these aspects to affect my quality of life, hence why I always thought with the right approach, acupuncture would give me back some of the body gains and address the “auto-immune” post aspects of this virus. Andre is a really knowledgeable acupuncturist, but I think he goes beyond that approach having the appreciation for Chinese Acupuncture, Japanese Toyohari Acupuncture and Moxa (Moxibustion). It is also great to have someone to listen to you and give real time feedback with the treatment, and not just dismiss your symptoms as “it’s in your head” or “you must be stressed” or “you are tired”. Having had a few sessions, I noticed a big uptick in my energy levels and some of my residual symptoms like the dizziness have become more manageable. I can also safely drive and have no difficulties now! I also realise it is a gradual path to full health and beyond, but the treatment protocol I am on has certainly given me a boost physically already, as I look to make those gains by changing other aspects of my daily life. Long covid is a new thing as this is a “novel virus”, and while everyone may respond differently to treatment, I would recommend Andre’s help to try and help make some improvements, with ultimately getting back to full health.

I went to see Andre for Long Covid, especially after my asthma symptoms got worse and the medication that I am currently taking doesnt work. I would like to mention that in the last 18 months I have had bad covid symptoms such as constant shortness of breath, chest aches, palpitations and pericarditis while performing any physical activity and I couldn't find any remedy. Because I am working in a healthcare setting I never truly believed that other treatments outside the medication can cure or ameliorate, today I have been proved that I was wrong. After 30 minutes of my appointment I started to feel better, my nasal congestion improved and the headache that I was coming with were gone. I don't like needles, but actually it went well and Andre was very reassuring. Personally I will definitely return and recommend Andre to my friends.

F.eks kan hjemmesiden godt optimeres. Jeg bestilte nogle varer som var udsolgt, men der stod ingen steder de var udsolgt. Derudover blev jeg ikke kontaktet af virksomheden og jeg finder derfor først ud af varen er udsolgt da jeg henvendte mig til dem på mail. Deres funktion til ‘kvinde tøj’ virkede heller ikke så godt. Ofte blev man bare ført ind på tøjet til ‘Herre’ og derfor er t-shirts f.eks i herre størrelser og ikke kvinde størrelser, hvilket man lige skal være opmærksom på. Beware the Extreme mop head I bought this mop head thinking it would clean my outdoor Ikea Runnen plastic deck tiles. It scrubs but can leave scratch marks. I took a towel to the floor (after 3 passes with the mop - mop head rinsed in between) and the towel was black with soot. I really wish I could return it now but it's well past the return time.

Karen was at our home recently to give a demonstration of the Enjo bathroom cleaning products. We have very hard water in Georgetown and a lot of calcium build-up everywhere the water runs through. Karen gave an excellent demonstration and I learned a lot that day about how to use the Enjo products properly and that all these years of using commercial cleaning products have been counter-effective. By buying the Enjo products I’m eliminating further the usage of toxic products in our house. This is all part of taking care of yourself. I feel good about investing in Enjo products as I know it will be better for our health, and the planet and we save money as well. On Saturday my daughter came over and cleaned my composite deck using the floor cleaning system using the extreme pad. Previously I used to have the deck power washed once a year, but it was pitting (making small holes) my deck boards. The Enjo worked equally as well, using only cold water, with no pitting, With this system I could wash it more frequently than power washing, as I have to get someone else do the power washing, She also cleaned all my windows, using the window system. They sparkled without having to polish them. I have been using the skin care system for a while and like it very much. Awsome daughter, amazing system.
