Horrifically bad experience
Horrifically bad experience. Order took so long to get we thought they went out of business. All of our attempts to contact them were ignored. Eventually had American Express reverse the charge in dispute. That's when we finally heard from them. Still engaged in an argument with them. Will never do business with them again. Recommend you don't either as you will likely get caught out having paid, while never receiving your merchandise, with them ultimately likely to enter bankruptcy. Negative 10 stars.

Kept trying to get in contact with them about an order for three weeks and still haven’t got anything back. I’ve been trying to place an order and can’t even seem to do something as simple as that. I’m really wound up as my new Reading home needs logs and finding any good quality logs is easier said than done. Not sure if they are even opeating because of their awful correspondence with customers – website is down, don’t get a response when calling! They are awful with contacting their customers, very displeased with their bad communication.

I have only ever ordered from Berkshire Logs since getting a wood burner 5 years ago. At first delivery was within 3 days, but this has continually declined. I ordered again 2 weeks ago (paying online in full) and had a text a week later to give a delivery date of today (2 weeks after the order). 2 days before delivery I get an email to say they cannot fulfil it and I have to wait up to 7 days for a refund. I went elsewhere. Ordered in the afternoon, delivery next day. The moral of the story is go elsewhere. Berkshire Logs have lost my loyal business. I just hope my refund comes soon!

I’ve not even got my logs yet despite a 2-5 day delivery ( now 7 days). I’ve left phone messages and emails and have had no response as to when or if I will get my delivery. I would be careful using this company as plenty others who offer good service, I only tried Berkshire Logs as I wanted to use a local rather than national company but I was wrong.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience
I would like to leave a good review as it seems like a great company - we chose it based on previous reviews. However we had a very poor experience. The delivery was rearranged twice, despite phoning ahead to arrange a specific time when I would be home. I understand there were logistical issues and the owner was apologetic but due to the company using the wrong number I was notified very late (after waiting in all day) and only when I chased 3 times (by phone and online messenger). When the wood eventually arrived, after another cancelled slot, it was damp. I understand errors happen and I hope the company gets back on its feet but it’s a lot of money to pay for a lot of hassle, which resulted in damp wood, so it’s unlikely I would buy from here again.

Best firewood supplier I've found

Abandoned and let down
From my experience I am not at all impressed by Lifetime Savings. I have been very independent throughout my life never taking handouts from anyone, however I am now retired my wife and I are living on one government pension, she is not quite pensionable yet. I contacted them in reference to a first time heating installation which my local council granted, they then sent one of their contractors to carry out a survey but alas they let us down and now the usual round of phone calls with nobody calling back. This has been going on for over three months now, we were hoping for central heating this Christmas. We thought it was too good to be true and apparently it is. Following your response below. Wow, not the response I was expecting. This is the first communication I have had from you in months and that was to give me a bollocking for calling you out.

Come to these guys for your ECO4 help!!
After working with Alex & the team of Lifetime savings for a little while now we can safely say that everything is a breeze, Lifetime Savings supply us with the contact details of customers that have contacted them for help in relation to the ECO4 scheme and are in desperate need of some form of help whether that be upgraded insulation or heating, the customer is always talked through the main stage meaning that is all that is left for us to do is complete a qualification assessment and install! Every ECO4 customer that we have dealt with has had nothing but praise for Alex & the team and I personally can see every reason why they are brilliant to deal with and I can safely say that given that there are quite a few ECO4 Installers if you are in need of any advice or are unsure please always go to these guys.

Cold house to warm house for less money.
From a very cold house last winter, couldn't afford to have the electric heating on much, to a very comfortable living space. This last month, our electricity bill was £50 less than the same period last year and we have the heating on 24/7. We had the air source heat pump, all new radiators and solar panels. All paid for by the EC04 grant, wonderful. From the very first contact, Lifetime Savings were very professional, informative and friendly. Yes, there's a bit of paperwork to master but they assisted me through everything, which meant them being very patient. An excellent team, service with a smile.

I was a bit sceptical that we would be able to benefit from the eco initiatives, but Lifetime Savings came to see us promptly after contact and explained the process and how we could benefit. They were very professional throughout the process and always on hand to ensure that there were no delays in getting work started. We ended up with cavity wall insulation, solar panels and a heat pump, so thank you. I can’t fault the team at Lifetime Savings. I would recommend them (and have done) to anyone.

Offering to allow customers in and close the shutters during a pandemic is ridiculous they’re putting their own and their customers health at risk... The way the owner has replied to the negative comments is absolutely disgusting. The professionalism of the staff is also appalling seeing some of the comment responses to the negative reviews, and if it isn’t a staff member then I think the business members need a hard look at who they are associating themselves with as it screams unprofessional. SCAM ALERT
We had our truck in the shop for almost 3 weeks trying to get them to acknowledge/pay a diagnostic and repair claim. The shop submitted the claim online TWICE. You cannot speak with ANYONE. They only have an answering service that gives you an email address that no one answers. This company is a SCAM.they take your money and completely ignore your claim.

I am very disappointed in this company. When I first spoke with the company manager 9 months ago and he signed me up for the policy, he made it sound like it was going to be easy each time we need to use it. we really liked everything that is covered under the warranty. That’s the reason why we decided to purchase. However, we really need it to use the policy this week and every time I dial the number that he had given me, the line was busy. So when I found the customer service number on my email from December 2022. The receptionist that answer the phone said that my point of contact person is unavailable. So I left a message expecting a phone call back Within a couple hours. I called back later that day. She said again that my point of contact person is still unavailable that she would mark my request urgent. Still no return call 🤔😡Two days later I called back to follow up on my phone call and the receptionist said again, my point of contact person is still unavailable that she would mark my call as a priority. I asked her what would be the timeframe that I could expect a telephone call back. She apologized and said she does not have that information. I am just curious how long it takes to call back a priority message. 🤔 I am not happy with this customer service and I’m starting to question if this policy is even legit. 🤷♀️

They aren't transparent about expected delivery
They aren't transparent about the shipping options and time to delivery. I gave my rep the date that I needed the cabinets by and nothing was provided in terms of customer support to be transparent about the delivery or recommend products that would be delivered within the time frame. I'm a contractor and flexible about the kind of cabinets I'm ordering but not on deadlines. They showed me that they don't care about anything other than getting an order. The cabinets came and they missed a wall cabinet. I have an installer scheduled and don't have all the cabinets. I tried working out a solution with them, but they just push tickets through the system. Useless company.

Price, quality, awesome customer service
In my 37 years as a home renovation expert I have always worked to offer my customers the best products for the best price. It used to be that the only way to get quality was through custom cabinet suppliers, which often didn't come at a sustainable price. Then came the online suppliers and the RTA concept where we could finally get both. Let's start with the product itself. Built with real plywood, dovetail joints, metal hardware and everything else we'd expect for long lasting, functional cabinets. Putting them together is easy with one person sorting them out of the box and another putting them together, each unit takes 15 minutes to have ready for install. 30 minutes for the lazy Susan/corner unit. When it comes to price, I have shopped more than a half a dozen online companies and have open business accounts at four of them. But I always end up buying from Wholesale Cabinets, not only based on price alone but also the customer service. Which takes me to Lynisha. Hands down, the absolute best support rep I have ever worked with. Calling her is like calling an old friend that I've known for 20 years. When I need her, she's there. She has even gone so far as to monitor communications that my customers initiated with the company and handled their needs right away. This person was made for this job and I wish I can some day actually meet this fantastic member of my team.
