Additionally, my instructor was occupied with their mobile phone at the time, which made the situation more challenging. Attended the 3a3b course in Durham, and the experience was nothing short of appalling. From the moment I arrived, the lead trainer, Kevin Blakey, created a hostile and unprofessional environment. When I politely asked to borrow a pen, simply using the word “mate” as I didn’t yet know his name, his response was, “I’m not your fing mate, it’s Kevin to you.”* This set the tone for the entire course, where he and his female colleague consistently belittled and singled out attendees rather than providing constructive training. During the practical session, Kevin’s approach was more about humiliation than education, and his colleague would say one thing, then attempt to embarrass people when they followed her instructions incorrectly. The lack of professionalism and basic respect was shocking. I left feeling abused and disrespected—this is not how any training course should be conducted. If you’re looking for a supportive and professional training experience, I’d strongly advise avoiding this company.

We used PermaFrame (Frome) a few years back to install a side PVC glass door. It has been superb, and completely trouble free apart from this friday, as we were preparing to go on holiday, we couldnt lock the door properly. We called PermaFrame and got transferred to their swindon Branch. They were so helpful and on hearing we were supposed to be off on holiday, sent an engineer to solve the problem who arrived in less than 15 minutes! He managed to fix the probelm then and there to allow us to go on holday. They saved the day! Incredible service, really very impressive. I wish more companys were like this. Fantastic installation and a great door!

The process of putting in double glazing windows has seemed straightforward to a couple not convinced it was the way to go. We were a little apprehensive as it is an old house. Dan & Brian hit the ground running on the day of fitting our new windows. They worked efficiently & kept us abreast of what they were doing. Our questions were answered, explanations clear. We found Dan & Brian to be polite, friendly, cheerful & hard working. The areas where they worked were left spotless with a thorough vacuum & wipe down plus the removal of all debris & old windows.

Big Sky Builders of Victor Montana is extraordinary. After our very first meeting with them we knew this was the builder we wanted to build for us. We learned so much about them in our very first meeting, 2nd generation builders, quality homes that have won awards, and very honest, especially about what they can provide with the budget you bring them. The most impressive thing to us was their ability to provide a build schedule and to keep to it. When we approved the plans, they provided a schedule and they delivered. When our build started, they told us our move in date would be 3/9/2023 and on that date it was ours to start moving in! They have an app that allows you to have all the information available to you, schedule, selections of material and finishes and the ability to communicate directly with them regarding any one of those topics so there is no confusion about what faucet goes on what sink or the flooring for each room. We provided them a floor plan that we liked, and they were able to make changes to customize the space to be uniquely ours. They also have floor plans that they can provide if you need. They scheduled all our appointments with the product vendors, so we had someone there to guide us in our selections of lighting, flooring, cabinets and countertops. We appreciated that because we are not designers! They are up to date on current building standards, and they make sure that no corners are cut. The project manager visited the site regularly and would make sure things were to the Big Sky standard and if there were issues, they were quick to have them corrected. The Big Sky team is very responsive when you have questions, and they are proactive when there is a need to advise you of a change to the schedule or a delay in materials. We never felt as though we weren’t sure what was next, we could always send a message or check the schedule and get the answers we needed. We are so grateful for the honest and caring way that they built our home. I bought a power washer from Jebb Tools recently. I called them in advance as I needed advice to compare the new washers against the washer I was replacing as I need something along the same lines or better.
