Beautiful natural stone paving flags

I have ordered some flags worth nearly £400. They are now layed and looking lovely. They were sand stone flags and came well packaged too, all in one big pallet. Yes it is true, we got our delivery also a couple of weeks late. But when we phoned up to chase it up they explained that there was an issue and what the issue was. It was a bit stressful for us as we just really needed to know when they would be coming, however they did tell us and they were delivered. I would use this company again as the flags were lovely and also priced very competitively. I would just probably order a bit in advance or phone up to check on current delivery times. I agree that people would expect the company to deliver in the time scales given on their website and I think that it does need to be looked at by the company. But it did not put me off and I would recommend this company as I believe this is a temporary issue.

Recently ordered a patio pack delivery…

Recently ordered a patio pack delivery was suppose to be 7 to 10 working days. The order was placed on the the 7th of June and after waiting for the 7 working days I called to see if they had any idea of how long the product may be. " your order is still being processed and has not yet been distributed to the delivery company yet this is due to a bank holiday back log" I'm now writing this review as I was promised the refund in 3 to 5 working days and still nothing in my account and told its been processed every time I call. Poor customer service and service through out. Do not purchase if you have set dates for customers or they will be very disappointed.

AVOID!!! AWFUL COMPANY!

Placed an order which stated the items were in stock and delivery would be 3-7 working days. 3 weeks later the item had not been delivered. Requested to cancel the order and had received a response to state the refund would be processed which I then had to chase again to receive my refund. There had been no communication other than myself chasing. AVOID!!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We ordered almost 3 weeks ago! With an estimated delivery time scale of 3-7 days. I then called around a week after placing the order to be told it wouldn’t be with us for another week at least so I cancelled my order. I’m now still awaiting a refund 1 week after cancelling my order! Customer service is non existent and they are now ignoring my emails.

Absolute shower, reassurance, lies and no refund forthcoming, despite ordered items being out of stock, shown as in stock on website and told refund would be made. Several phone calls and emails, still no refund after nearly three weeks. 1 star so I could give a negative review. Steer clear…

Excuses excuses excuses then lies and…

Excuses excuses excuses then lies and more lies, been waiting for weeks for delivery to be told 1 week it should be with me via pallet line. The next week it’s coming to me direct from the supplier to now being told it still hasn’t left the depot. All I ask is for an idea of a date but no that’s not possible yet the blame it on other haulers and a massive backlog. If u go to place a new order there’s no mention of delivery issues so be careful .do I wait or do I cancel the wait a week for a refund so I can order else where. Never had such a poor experience Total disappointment

100% AVOID!!!!

Would love to rate the product but 13 working days after I placed my order (24th May) I still haven’t received them even tho it stated 3-7 working days. Phoned up on day 6 to be told middle of the following week but nope. Emailed to ask when if I could get an approx date to be told they have no idea! Customer service is unsatisfactory. Takes an age to get through on the phone and email is days for a reply. Live chat just never answer. UPDATE: Now 6 weeks after order and waiting for a refund. After 4 weeks I had an email saying the original was out of stock! They offered an alternative but that didn’t arrive either! Can’t even tell me how long a refund takes it’s an absolute joke of a company never had such terrible service! UPDATE: 5 days after refund request had heard nothing so rang to chase up. Was told there had been no request after I had sent 2 emails. Finally got a refund request acknowledged and it could take up to 14 days to process plus a few days for the bank to process it. Absolute joke! UPDATE: Still not a sniff of a refund. Legal action next step. Yet more waffle in their reply. They refused to accept my refund request on the phone and my written request via email apparently “never arrived”. I had to send 3 emails total and phoned straight after the last one to get confirmation and make then reply to the email so I had it in writing myself. And the absolute cheek of now talking about “sticking to timescales” sums up their attitude since they have have over £800 of my money for 8 weeks when it should have been 7 days! It’s also worth noting that in the time it took to reply to this review you could clicked a few buttons to send the refund but they were rather deliberately drag it out. Sums up the entire customer service experience. UPDATE: So as expected it is now 14 days according to them since I asked for a refund (even tho I initially asked 3 weeks ago) and they still haven’t sent it. So yet another lie to ad to the list. Just as well I have proceeded with a claim through court (which will included interest and fees). They just have no care or respect towards customers at all. UPDATE: Yes I did finally receive a refund on YOUR timescale and it came through not long before midnight on the last day. One final attempt at being petty. I keep updating to make sure my review is visible and people can see it for what it is. Never received any email about the refund being processed just like I never even got an order confirmation in the first place and the other emails that mysteriously were not received or sent. If there are untruths in my review then I’m sure TrusPilot will be happy to remove it. Also just look at the other reviews it’s not like I’m the only one saying these things is it? Maybe address the terrible service instead of trying to discredit people by calling them liars. Day after day the same experience from other customers and they have the cheek to call people liars. I have since ordered from Ammaaristones.co.uk and they were £100 cheaper delivered in 3 days!

Very Poor customer service

Order a product that was showing in stock checked back after about 6 days to see item was being processed, So I sent an email to see when it would be delivered so the workmen could arrange day to apply it. I was told it was out of stock and offered a alterative as nearly twice the price so I asked for a refund. I have emailed since to ask when the refund will be made but no reply tried to phone but no joy getting through so I used the live chat, I was told the refund was going to refunds and would take a few days and then a about a week to show up on payment card, I did question I paid with PayPal to which I was informed it would take longer ?, I have had PayPal refunds made on the same day or next day by most company’s.

Do yourself a favour…

… go elsewhere. The product itself was fine (albeit a couple of breaks that weren’t apparent on delivery). The product is one that can be obtained elsewhere though, so the entire customer experience comes down to service and delivery. I am afraid to say that these were both terrible. First, having to chase for an indication of when the products would be delivered. Second, the saga of actually achieving delivery. It is fair to say that no other company has consumed so much time and fallen so far short of my expectations in this regard. Perhaps the worst part is that they try and rely on terms and conditions when it suits them (i.e. to justify delivery taking materially longer than is indicated on the website), but ignore anything that operates in the customer’s favour e.g. the obligation to use “all reasonable efforts” to meet a notified delivery time. At the heart of all of this appeared to be a complete breakdown in the relationship between this company and its supplier (who apparently “refused to load” the order). Whatever the cause of that might be, it simply isn’t right that the customer is left to bear the consequences in terms of time and energy expended. I would have been much happier if the company had been honest and up front about its issues at the time of ordering as at least then I could have made an informed choice.

Horrendous company

Horrendous company. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Our order took nearly 3 weeks to arrive, first we were told they had been sent to a local delivery hub, then they were still in the warehouse, then they weren't sure if they were in the warehouse, then they were in a container waiting on the docks but they didn't know which container they were in... then they only had one lorry driver and nobody to unload the containers. Every excuse in the book! You speak to a different person every time you call and none of them speak to eachother. We needed to return a pallet due to over ordering, and that began the next circus act trying to get a quote for return shipping. I gave up after 3 days of chasing and waiting for a call back from 2 different people. To my surprise a courier arrived expecting to take the pallet away a week later. Paving Superstore say I agreed to a price via email of £180 per pallet for return shipping. Almost half the value of the pallet. They were unable to explain why a courier had been sent when I had not agreed, and definitely would not have agreed to the return at that price. They could only apologise for the mix up. This is a company with staff that clearly haven't been given the tools or resources to do their jobs correctly.
