Problems with Shed Finish and Missing Part RESOLVED.
After some initial issues with paint finish, a missing part and delay in customer service response, I am happy with my shed and the solution offered by Asgard. The missing part has been replaced along with a tin of touch-up paint. I have built the shed and just need to install a suitable floor (this entry level cycle shed has no steel base as advertised). It is very robust and looks really neat in the garden. Once anchored I have no doubts it will be extremely secure for my 2 road bikes, and keep my insurance company happy. I reckon I will also be able to squeeze in my folding commuter bike too. So all niggles have been sorted and the end result is a happy customer. On my initial review I stated that I had waited 12 weeks, in fact it was 9 so apologies to Asgard. I would rate 3.5 stars but half stars are not possible! This had been increased from an earlier review, prior to the resolution reached. UPDATE After 18 months the lock has become faulty. I could not open my own shed to access my bikes. Online support suggested using a hammer to force the key into the lock...hmmm I don't think so! I did not spend £500 to use a hammer on this product after such a short period of time. I have been promised a call back from customer services but have yet to get the call. Until this is resolved I am going to deduct 2-stars. If this gets resolved soon I will look at increasing the rating, but I am surprised the current lock has failed so soon. FURTHER UPDATE After a calls/emails to customer service a new lock and door mechanism was posted to me. I am happy to report that the new items have solved the problem. I will keep a close check on the lock condition over the coming months/years, to ensure they do their job.

2 x 18 Month old locks faulty, 1 more handle broke, company won't help
Both locks on double bike shed don't work after just over a year since purchase. Totally useless to me. Company suggest that, due to warranty period expiry, any solution they can offer me would be chargeable. Offered to sell me another £67 replacement lock, despite the fact I already have two which don't open and one more with a broken handle. Suggested that the reason is because they are situated on gravel, but in fact, they are on a flat concrete slab, so this cannot be the reason. The locks are simply faulty.

After a long wait I arrived home to…
After a long wait I arrived home to find The Assguard Lorry outside my house, a day earlier than they had previously arranged, but luckily I was in. The 2 lads on the lorry were very helpful and put the shed where I had asked etc. I was very happy with the quality and ease of construction. But as with so many of these reviews there were parts missing namely the floor and the access ramp. I phoned them up and was told I had ordered a different shed to the one which came with these parts?? I was pretty sure I didn't as the only reason I decided to go with their product was that it was insurance and police approved for motorcycle storage I even ordered the extra helmet shelves and extra stong hooks for your leathers. Now I have no proof of this as I didn't get a confirmation e-mail.. and when I phoned after the money was taken from the account they just said your order has gone through and they would send the details..(which they didn't) I then got a txt message 6 weeks later with the (all be it wrong) delivery date. I do have to say all the staff were very pleasant if of no help at all... Now I'm left with £1447 worth of secure motorcycle shed that I cant get bikes into.. and insurers don't recognise..... see reply below Or i could just return the shed as its within the statutory 14day return timescale and re-order the cheaper one that comes with a ramp and a floor?

Absolutely excellent sheds for my bikes and garden tools.
I have two Asgard sheds that i put together 18months ago and i cannot fault the quality of materials finish or delivery. They are truly excellent and i have no condensation and they do the job well. I believe there is further potential for accessories such as shelves and bike and tool holders but i have managed to accommodate such with a little ingenuity. However i am very very pleased with my Asgard products. Well done.

Great cycle shed
Excellent product which has plenty of space for four bikes and accessories. We have the Asgard plus which means I don’t have to take apart my bike apart when storing and very easy to access when going out for a ride. The unit is robust and secure and fits our needs perfectly.

Turned out alright in the end
The shed I ordered went together quickly and relatively easily. Had a problem with the tool rack, the one that came with the shed didn’t fit, but a replacement was sent out within two weeks, once I had explained what the problem was. Staff were pleasant and helpful if a little evasive at times. Overall I’m pleased the the end product.

10 year warranty ... read the small print
10 year warranty, Police Approved, premium product,.... lock jammed after 14 months... "Oh unfortunately the locks only guaranteed for 12 months, it's in the small print" So i'm guilty of taking the product at face value and not spending my valuable time searching through the company's small print. £165 for a new door and another £125 for an engineer. I've posted this review on Asgards website, not hopeful that it will get through their moderation.

Customer Service Shambles
Ordered 2 of these 7ft x 3ft sheds. Both arrived badly scratched on multiple panels, down to the bare metalwork. When assembling it appeared that I must be doing something wrong as the locking door refused to close at all due to the locking bar being longer than the door seemed to allow. Called customer service to ask if I was missing a trick and was promised a call back the same day with some advice, no such phone call. Decided not to bother building the second until the first unit was resolved, awaiting the response from Asgard. No response the following day either, so the annual leave taken to build these was wasted. Realising I had a second unit the same, I removed the locking door and compared it to the other and this proved that the manufacturing was at fault as the second door had a shorter locking pin. Took photos of this and fitted the second door to the unit instead and emailed customer support (again) with the proof and explanation of the fault. The newly fitted door allowed the unit to close but another fault meant that the door was so tight it would not lock even though the frame was completely level. No response for a week. Subsequent repeated chases to custom services finally resulted in an acceptance of fault. Bear in mind that I had 2 units, both unusable, with plenty of items to store from the previous storage I had to tear down to make room for these units... Customer services allowed me to swap the unbuilt unit for an EBike unit instead (paying the additional difference) after my lack of trust in this unit, they initially wanted to charge me 30% (£125) for the privilege of returning an unusable/faulty unit... Had a text message at 8pm one night confirming a delivery date a week different to that confirmed by Customer Services, telling me to respond within 12 hours (8pm to 8am?) confirming this date was ok. Rang up customer services and spoke to the manager that I was dealing with, who sighed at me saying "this isn't us, that's a different department". I asked her to confirm which date was correct though which was clearly a problem but later I had a call from the "logistics" department confirming it was the later date. The chat with them basically indicated that I was expected to dismantle the entire unit myself to give back the 3 faulty parts on the assembled unit. I asked if this was not going to be done by the delivery guys/installers but was told customer services refused this... Goodwill gesture and all that. Over 6 weeks after the issue was raised with Asgard I finally got a replacement door and top panel (a side fascia was meant to be delivered but was missing, but at this point I had lost the will..). The replacement parts fixed the problem with being unable to lock the unit, but the newly delivered EBike unit had one panel dropped on delivery and bent in such a way that this unit now cannot open/close properly. The driver tried his best to correct but unfortunately couldn't fix. The unit also came with multiple scratches and a dented floor panel, which I corrected to hopefully speed up this saga. Emailed customer services with all of the new information but (shockingly..) received no response, not even an acknowledgement. Chased again to no avail with both customer services and the sales team. So in total, 3 Asgard units have been delivered and all 3 have been damaged/unusable. The "complaints" section of the website seems to indicate people get a resolution within 24 hours and compensation etc. I can't even get a response, and compensation is definitely not something I received. Review posted to their website and facebook but both miraculously don't get approved or responded to, seems you can only post a review that paints them in the best possible light.

I have been trying for 3 months to get a shed delivered to no avail. Asgard have delivered incomplete sheds, missed 4 delivery dates and been very poor communicators. Avoid this company. I am totally at a loss as to how to resolve this. Update The missing panels were delivered today - on the wrong date with no prior warning. It was fortuitous that I as in. Replacements for the damaged screws were not. I worry this is going to be another ongoing battle to have these delivered. Further update Asgard has kindly offered £75 as compensation for the delivery difficulties. The shed itself is fantastic. Exactly what I wanted.
