Poor service!

Ordered a shed on March 9th on the understanding I got a delivery w/c may 28th, it was agreed pencilled in that week, received delivery email 3 days ago saying 5/6/18 !!!! Having booked a week off work for this delivery it isn’t on but they would not rectify they’re problem! After £30 worth of phone calls with me chasing somebody who could deal with the problem as nobody could be bothered returning calls, finally the one bright light there (Emily) helped me with a refund! After 3 wasted months now I will be shopping elsewhere, shame really as the company has got the right product in place but not the persons who want to deal with issues to make them a 5* customer experience! Judging by recent reviews I’m not alone !

Came through in the end

***Update 25th May 2018 - finally after a number of attempts to contact Asgard and get a new panel delivered i received that correct part today. Asgard offered to complete the build and are supplying me with a number of shed accessories as compensation. I am happy it has been resolved and with their final resolution. My only feedback is I wish they had been better at communicating with me and giving me a timeframe of delivery. Not calling back when promised on numerous occasions left me kept in the dark. I have changed my review from 1 to 3 stars. The shed itself I would happily rate as 5 stars due to its quality and ease of assembly. It is exactly what I was hoping it would be and well worth the price but the problems with customer service meant I unfortunately have to drop it to 3.*** PLEASE READ BEFORE SPENDING A LOT OF MONEY ON A SHED WHICH YOU MAY BE RELYING ON BEING BUILT IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS FROM ORDERING I ordered and paid £1600 for an asgard shed on 3rd March 2018. It was finally delivered on 26th April 2018. I started to build it but when it was nearly complete found that they had sent an extra rear side panel and I was missing a front side panel. This meant I could not finish it and had to brace the half built roof with wood to prevent it bending. After 3 weeks of trying to contact asgard and request the right panel (which involved them promising to call me back numerous occasions but not doing so) they delivered the wrong part on 18th May despite me clearly telling them what was required and even giving them the part number. I have called to again request the right part to be sent and was promised they would call me back which they have not done. I cannot understand how a company can give such little regard for its customers and the disruption they have caused. I have no confidence that I will receive the right part any time soon. I have not been offered any sort of compensation and they will not follow my advice of paying a courier to get the part to me instead of waiting until one of their other deliveries are in my area. I was considering buying another smaller Asgard shed but there is no chance I will ever use this company again.

Stay well away

Stay well away. Ordered a 29er shed. After 8 week wait get call from delivery driver that shed on the way, and agree where shed will be left for handy man to put together. Get home that evening, no shed, no note no communication! Call the company and get through to transport company lady who investigates and finds out shed was returned because no doors were included..... mistakes do happen. Now the nightmare.....between transport manger Kevin and customs service manager Helen (who will not speak to me and leaves Emily to deal) I am being passed from pillar to post with nobody telling me if or when I will ever get my shed! Pity coz I really like the sheds but I may have to cancel. Buy at your own risk!

They misrepresented and email I have…

They misrepresented an email I have sent and added to their reply to my negative review of their product. If only they actually replied to emails and phone calls! Really disappointing company and terrible customer service. Their fitters carry paint to cover up damage, when my goods were delivered there was a lot of damage.

Security wise 5*. General purpose 0*

I purchase one of there centurion plus 2 and i have to say that if this review was solely on security i would give it 5stars. But with my experience the major problem has been with condensation. It has been shocking. I have emailed back and fourt with them to see if something can be done about it. The first email was sent before the 12/12/17 and have just received the final outcome email on 25/04/18 with the outcome to cost me over £300 to get vented side panels to fix the problem. They’re response to emails are on average 3-4 weeks later. Im left gutted now that a purchased a much bigger shed with the thought of moving all the stuff in my other shed into it and getting rid of the old one but now thats not an option so left with a bigger shed than needed which also cost more. I live in scotland and the temperatures did drop below freezing which wouldn’t of helped obviously but it’s still not good enough for a product claiming to be of high quality which comes with a high price. If you are determined to buy one i would suggest you purchase one with the vented side panels or don’t buy one bigger than whats needed. Regards to the reply from asgardsss. The condensation was in the shed When it was completely empty. The motorcycle was added 1 or 2 weeks after.

Five star

Five star. I needed the classic Asgard by the 29th April. Jackie at Asgard succeeded with arrangements despite an earlier road delay. Michael and his driver were five star. I had time to consider the best position for the erection( with a little space behind between the item and wall) which went ahead faultlessly. Michael found a few bits and pieces in the yard which together with the props they had with them created a level base on the stone patio. I chose to have the item bolted to the ground. Michael informed me it would be possible to relocate the item if needs be. Their instructions on how to manage the locks were clear. ....The Classic is a beautiful green colour, and surprisingly spacious.To date, everything is bone dry. I am very pleased with it and have no hesitation in recommending this item to anyone who needs storage space for a multitude of items or projects in progress. mrs LA Melech

Bike shed

Long term review- bike shed I’ve had for twelve months. Good swag. No rust. Easy to build. Strong and secure. Expensive but very well made. Delivery was poor as they just dumped it at my caravan site and didn’t follow delivery request instructions hence no five stars but overall a good quality product and I would certainly use Asgard again

Very disappointing experience

I am thoroughly disappointed with the quality of product and the service I have received from Asgards. I purchased a bike shed in January and upon delivery at the end of January it was in poor condition and badly scratched. I asked for the bike shed to be collected and requested a full refund. This was agreed over the phone. It is now 6th March and the bike shed has yet to be collected. Twice somebody from Asgards has arrived at my house to collect the shed, but without giving prior warning. Both times I have been out of the house and unable to return home to give them access to collect the shed. The customer services team are all friendly and helpful on the phone, but nothing has happened after each of my (many) calls. Still the collection team have yet to call me and confirm a collection date/time. I really would expect better from a well-known company such as Asgards, and it is very disappointing to have to leave such a negative review.

Disappointing customer service

Delivery was delayed by a week by to a breakdown in the factory. Fine, these things happen, but to compound this, when it was delivered I was told I would get an hours warning before. Instead at 8 o’clock in the morning, the doorbell rang whilst I was getting the kids ready for school, so couldn’t have come at a more inconvenient time, a warning as advised would have been helpful. Made this point to Asgard who didn’t apologise, just said they would pass this on to their transport manager. A week later, still no apology or response from the transport manager. Pretty poor customer service!

Brilliant Bike Store - Top quality

Ordered a bike store before Xmas, which was delivered last week. Communications with Asgard (Tracey) were really good and clear. Construction quality excellent, instructions very clear and easy to follow, everything fitted together really well, and it was an easy job for my son-in-law and I to erect, even as the light was failing. Really impressed with the locking system, where the specially supplied padlocks are hidden from view and cannot be snapped off. I chose the brown colour which blends very nicely into the setting. Highly recommended.
