Outstanding Customer Service

Since purchasing an Asgard bike store we have been blown away by their customer service and personalised approach to dealing with issues. Upon receiving the bike store it was clear it was of the highest quality. However once erected and the first of the Great British weather came it appeared to gather water in the base. We messaged Asgard and provided photographic evidence etc. We were advised that the base was missing the installation of the provided rubber bungs and once installed it was felt this should keep the rain out. Unfortunately we couldn't find the provided bungs and requested some to be sent to us which Asgard did at no further cost. We monitored the bike store for a couple of months and concluded that there must still be an issue as water was still pooling in the base and the reviews regarding the quality of the product didn't match up to our experience. Contact with Asgard again was effortless and Andy took our concern to the design team at the next available opportunity (10 minutes after our phone conversation). It was concluded we had somehow received a faulty roof which may be allowing water to gain access through the rivets in the top. Andy sent his number one chap out to replace the roof with a brand new one the very next day. On site it became evident that potentially we had been doubly unfortunate and not only received a dodgy roof but somehow one of the early prototype floor / base units. Although this was treated on site with some sealant Andy was in touch immediately and very apologetic. He has arranged for number one chap to return to us with a brand new floor / base ASAP at no further cost to ourselves. In summary Asgard do create an amazing product with high quality material and craftsmanship. By the sounds of it we are very unfortunate to have received products that should not have been sent out to the end user. Asgard have not needed me to shout and complain, just discussions. We have not needed to chase or harass. For ourselves it is not just having confidence in making a purchase but equally and even more so is the support and customer service available post transaction and for this they are AMAZING! Big thanks to the whole team. Highly recommend.

Excellent secure bike shed

Excellent secure bike shed. Minor flaw is that water seems to come in through the bottom of the bike shed and not sure how to stop it. Also as our surface was not completely level we need to pull the lid slightly for it to shut properly but this is user error.

Could not be more impressed

Have had a 3 bike unit since June 2017. Could not be more impressed. Delivery was precise to the time quoted. Parts were all left where I requested. Assembled by myself and my wife. Instructions clear, concise and everything required was included. Built in about 2 hours. Has been solid and secure since. No signs of wear, rust or failures. This unit inspires complete confidence and my bikes are left overnight, at weekends and during holidays and I have never worried. Weather tight so no issue with damp, mould etc. I have a battery sensor light installed for those dark early mornings and, once the doors are closed, the unit does not leak any light. I think this shows how well it goes together and the precise fit you achieve if you follow the instructions. Almost every other house in my street has an Asgard box so I think goes to show the level of reliability and satisfaction with this company's product. 5 star rating, I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking to secure their property.

A 1st class product and 1st class …

A 1st class product and 1st class service - Thank you. We have recently purchased 4 Asgard Access Sheds for storing visitors luggage in our busy Outdoor Centre in Ilkley West Yorkshire. The four sheds were delivered quickly and installed efficiently and to a high standard by the drivers. The sheds were exactly as described and when constructed have been secured effectively to a level base. Each shed is has two independent locking points and providse a very secure storage solution for us. We are delighted with these products and the service we received from Asgard - the sheds have been in daily use by visitors and are proving to be very robust and standing up to the rigors of everyday use by children, teenagers and adults alike. Thank you.

Indifferent and useless

Indifferent and useless When shed was delivered on Monday 18/12/2017, the screw pack was missing so it couldn't be assembled. The delivery drivers promised an urgent UPS shipment the following morning. This did not happen. Repeated calls to customer services said they would only send it by post and I should not have been told this. Naturally it did not arrive. I called back to chase on 20/12/2017, and was given a Royal Mail tracking number, and RM's system could not find it. I was promised another screw pack either by UPS delivery or first class post (the customer services person's memory is hazy on this). After this did not arrive I called back to chase on 22/12/2017. After much argument that investigating why things were not arriving was not simply handing off to the 'person who deals with UPS' and the customer services persons's complaints of 'what more can I do' and her constantly interrupting me I managed to persuade her that 'what more you could do' was speak to that person and get the tracking number so we can check, which she duly did. It turned out that he says he did not use UPS but the post. So, because it's 22/12/2017, she says, there's nothing that can be done until the new year. Except a small thing: I was promised a call back on that day (22/12/2017) by the customer services manager, which of course did not happen. She recommended I take the unassembled shed into the house because of the theft risk. So now I have a dining room full of metal shed panels over the xmas break. So, assuming they can be bothered to find out what's gone wrong in their internal processes such that this package isn't going out and I get the screws early in the new year, I will have waited since 13/11/2017 when I ordered until 4/1/2018 and had a house cluttered with large parts. Given their idea of figuring out why something isn't arriving is simply repeating the same action of sending it again via the defective processes that caused the problem in the first place, I have no confidence that they will be able to sort out this problem. The most astonishing thing is here we have a company who simply can't post things. Draw your own conclusions. UPDATE: The first package appeared to be underpaid - after xmas, I got a card from the post office asking for £3 more. The second package, it turns out, was posted second class(!) and that's why it arrived as late as 23/12/17. I told Asgard this, so I have no idea why they're claiming the postal service lost one of the packages.

Initially appalling, but they did redeem themselves in the end

Update from original review. The following day's promised delivery did not materialise. I was, however, telephoned by Helen, a Customer Services Representative, just after the promised time of 11am, to apologise for the second failed attempt and was promised a delivery a week later. What surprised me most about this call was that Helen was professional, apologetic, and in complete agreement that this wasn't an acceptable level of service. I was offered a free build service, without even asking for it, for the inconvenience and I am pleased to report that the following week's delivery and build went perfectly. What I can't fathom is the stark comparison between my two encounters with Asguard. What I can say positively is that the shed (Trojan Plus) is excellent and the delivery/assembly team were lovely. It wasn't a great experience but they did at least redeem themselves. They do, however, need to replace one of their call centre staff, called Sarah.

Fantastic Customer Service and Product

First of all before ordering the product I made a call to customer services to discuss my requirments. Staff we knowledgable and knew about there products, they cared!! I ordered the Secure 3 Bike Box, online, fast ordering system an easy payment. Few weeks later got a call saying my box would be delivered the following friday between 8am and 6pm, but driver would call to give me a hour timee slot on the day, this happend and box was delivered in the time slot. So to the product, comes as a self build, but Asgard do offer a service to build it for you. But I opted to build myself. Easy to build, will take 2 peolpe and took us about 90 mins to build and secure to the ground, all fixing bolts are included. Instructions are easy to follow! The box is extremely secure, and feel confident my bikes are secure. I would highly recomemend Asgard for both customer service and products

I love my Bike Shed!

First of all I love my Bike Store! Thankyou Asgard! I'd spent months scouting the internet for a safe store for my bikes. With 2 of my pride & joy being stored inside the house due to a recent attempted break in of my old wooden shed I was taking no chances. I decided to order after reading numerous reviews even though a little above my budget cost wise. I didn't realise delivery was around 4 weeks until I received my order confirmation but to be honest it did mention this in the 'delivery' section and I'd failed to read it. Presumed it would be a stock item but the fact it's made to order made me feel like it was an extra special purchase. Anyway was it worth the money & wait? Absolutely! What a piece of kit this is. I'm impressed with the manufacture and strength of the panels and I know I've bought something that will last me for years to come. A very sound investment. I used Livechat prior to ordering to ask a few questions I wasn't sure of and Tracey talked me through my queries and reassured me. She was extremely helpful and knew her stuff. The delivery was an hour late but hey traffic is traffic and the driver did phone ahead to let me know. All in all a great product & service I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Asgard
