Contact from Sukey - Resolved Issue

I had some initial issues with a warranty claim but have subsequently been contacted by Sukey, who has been extremely helpful and assisted with resolving the problem. His contact has instilled my faith back in the company and I will use them for future outdoor furniture purchases when I next need them.

Utterly disgraceful service

Utterly disgraceful service! Three months and still waiting for our coffee table...it's been promised, it's been out for delivery, but not arrived. NO communication from Moda, NO apology and still NO table. DO NOT USE MODA!!!!!

Poor quality furniture range

I’m only writing this review as I’m at my wits end trying to get my issue resolved! The initial process was fine, placed my order, delivery was booked in within the timeframe I expected and gave me the option to pick a convenient day and the delivery itself was great! That’s where the positive points end. I ordered the Mason range which looked great on their website, however as I started to unpack the chairs I noticed there were some marks on more than one of them and in all honesty the quality was not what I expected, they feel like you’re sat on a campbed! I paid over £3,000 on a corner sofa and the sofa set with armchairs, so they’re not cheap but they feel cheap! I contacted Moda and they basically replied telling me how to clean the marks off with soap and water which wasn’t really the response I expected! The fabric is supposed to be waterproof but it isn’t, around the seams and on patches of the fabric the water just seeps in and never really dries so you can’t really sit on them as they always feel wet! I’ve continued to complain and been told they’d replace them but I don’t want the same thing again as they’re not high quality or what I thought I was getting, I would’ve taken a replacement for another collection but I haven’t had an email in nearly 2 weeks and so I’ve had to contact my bank to ask for my money back that way seen as I’ve given Moda every chance to resolve this. UPDATE as of 16th JULY Having received a reply to my review below just wanted to update to say I’ve emailed them six times since they offered to replace the furniture in June, as requested I forwarded those emails onto them and as yet this is still unresolved despite sending a further 3 emails! Despite being given another opportunity to resolve this they still haven’t!

Broken and missing

Chaise set arrived broken and missing a coffee table. Complained , they replaced three weeks later but forgot the coffee table again! Now having to wait another two weeks for the coffee table! Poor customer service and sometimes sorry isn’t good enough!

Poor customer service

We purchased 2 sets of patio furniture at separate times from Moda Furnishings. I contacted customer services to ask if we could purchase replacement cushions as the originals were showing signs of wear. We were advised that replacement cushions could be ordered, so we disposed of the old set. When we went to order the replacements we were advised that replacement cushions cannot be ordered, so we are left with 2 sets of patio furniture without cushions. VERY poor customer service !!!

Absolutely shocking customer service . Ordered garden furniture on the 24 th of April . With a 6 week wait . They failed to inform me that the furniture was a not in stock until the end of July . Avoid this company

Avoid! It isn't worth the stress!

Please filter reviews to most recent. I wish I had! I was assured we would receive our order in time for a big family gathering. After hearing nothing back after purchasing I decided to chase this a week later, considering it was due to be delivered within 3-10 days as seemingly ALL items were in stock at the time of purchase. It didn't help that Moda's Facebook and their recent reviews here are ALL negative, safe to say I lost all confidence in the company. I phoned and got through to someone in Manchester, she told me the order was on hold as a cover was out of stock and wasn't due in till the end of July, and that my order had been placed on hold until said item was in stock and it would all be delivered together. (Judging by recent reviews, unlikely). I hadn't intended on ordering furniture for next summer!! She said she would split the order and get the delivery team to call me within 24 hours, you can probably guess what happened...yes of course they didn't call me. Due to losing complete confidence in the company I went back to the store I purchased from (Chelmsford) today. I asked for a refund and was initially told this couldn't be done in store, what rubbish! The lady further explained that she needed permission to grant a refund but said she couldn't call her head office...really?!? Eventually she had an online chat with someone and authority was given and I was refunded. Incidentally I was told at the time of cancelling that there was no record of my call yesterday and that it was a rug within my order that was out of stock as well as the cover. I'd love to comment on the quality, sadly and I mean sadly as I would much rather have had the beautiful furniture set I fell in love with in store, I don't believe it would have ever arrived. Please please filter reviews to most recent, we can't all be wrong. Moda, sort it out! People work hard for their money. Don't lie to people! Manage their expectations and be honest.

Still waiting - month 3 money taken

You have repeatedly said our table (bought for and paid for in April) would now be delivered June 29. No delivery. More time wasted. No cover as our ‘gesture of goodwill’ either. Sick and tired of the lack of service from @modafurnishings you have taken our money and it’s been 3 months. Jules what about the coffee table?! You only mention the cover (gesture of goodwill) not the delivery that never happened! THE COFFEE TABLE WE HAVE PAID FOR

Awful Experience

Awful Experience. They do not know how to deliver purchased items. Ordered 4 covers for our garden furniture, a week later only one turned up. Called the company to check where the other three were, simply got a quick apology and a new delivery date for the other three. A week later, a second one turned up. Again had to call to ask where the other two were. Instead of asking for them to be delivered, I decided to cancel them & receive a refund instead, due to the shock of how bad the company had been with providing the items in the first place. I am about to call again to chase said refund as have not received the refund and it has been two weeks. The company is actually laughable at this point.
