Spent over £30,000 on a new Bailey…

Spent over £30,000 on a new Bailey Cabrera, not a happy camper. Check her over whilst in winter storage, large area of damp on front offside wall, great and only 6 months old. Cupboard hinge screws fallen out, stable door not working correctly. Choose the type due to great reviews, now not so. Going back to dealer shortly but not sure on repair time. Hopefully this year, we will wait and see.

Great Bailey Aftercare

We had some water ingress in our Bailey caravan. We contacted Bailey re this as our caravan still had over 1 year of 10 year warranty left Whilst the warranty for current purchases is only 6 years, & you have to purchase 4 years extra they honoured without question that we were covered for 10 years even though our dealership is no longer in business. We purchased 1 year prior to the new terms.During repair some further ingress was found but still they authorised this additional work under warranty.Thank you Bailey for being fair and honourable without question Five star service !

Baily are the worst motorhome manufactures

We have a bailey Advanced 70-6 This must be the worst built motorhome ever with the aftersales and customer services to match. The trims fall off covers missing poor quality workmanship and customer care is non-existent. Its a 20019 model and given that for 2 years it sat on a drive due to covid it had very little use the locking barrel on the habitation door failed. One would expect it to last more than the warranty period but it didn't. We were then forced to contact prima parts who sent out the wrong looking suite as they cant supply just the barrel due to security reasons. well you don't need a key as a screwdriver would be more than sufficient. They then also chare over £140 for the handle and lock for a barrel that i have managed to source from A and l Leisure for £17. I would strongly not advise anyone to purchase a baily of any model unless you want to be ripped off have no customer services and regular have to use a glue gun to re-stick trims and covers in your van .

Upgraded to a 2021 Phoenix+644 last…

Upgraded to a 2021 Phoenix+644 last October via Wallace Caravans, Kirkcaldy. There was a minor leak due to faulty sealant around the rooflight, which Wallaces fixed within a week, and it has been bone dry inside ever since. We were delayed dealing with the warranty transfer, and realised the deadline with 2 days to go and post strikes looming. Nicholas East in the aftercare team at Baileys went out of his way to be helpful and to ensure the warranty was transferred to us electronically before the deadline expired. So far, a smooth and helpful experience from both Wallace Caravans and Baileys. Recommended.

If I was the MD of this company I would…

UPDATE Removed review Refund payment for repairs received I believe partly due to help from Nicholas at Bailey and Gillian at prima leisure It’s a shame the fault was produced in the first place In 2018 and it’s taken this long to resolve

Poor build and aftersales

Bought Baily Phoenix 640+ in December 2022 and it has been a nightmare ever since. I have emailed the CEO with no reply and Lowdhams about their aftersales service and got a reply to be fair. I have now emailed Baileys aftersales team after seeing the email address on here. I would never buy a Bailey again either and am waiting to hear what Baileys have to say. There have been many faults with this caravan which I consider to be more than just snagging issues. They are as below:- 1. Faulty door lock (Friends had to come with a toolbox to get us out of our van) 2. Faulty electrics (Fixed on the drive) 3. Warped frame near door. (Eventually replaced) 4. Miss threaded roof blind (Resolved) 5. Several strips coming away (These were looked at and it was suggested replaced. However they are coming away again) 6. Short wardrobe rail (Eventually replaced months later) 7. Sealant blocking the awning rails (Someone came out and ran something through which did nothing. Mark from Lowdhams sales had to come in his own time and rectify this for us) 8. Issue with the stabilizer (Looked at during service) 9. Water heater burning smell and error code (The latest and not yet fixed) 10. Waiting for a price for ATC (which we thought was already fitted)

Pegasus grande se Ancona

We bought a brand new Pegasus grande se Ancona feb 2022 we have had nothing but problems!!! The main caravan door has fallen off, all electrics down one side stopped working the beds have faults and collapse every time they are used. Look the caravan back to the dealer and they had it for almost 3 months chasing Bailey for parts and sorting repairs, we have just been on a 3 day trip to find even more problems!! We spent a lot of money on this caravan, Wev missed out on holidays in the 10 months of having it due to it having repairs! Worst thing we ever bought, already looking at getting rid of it, and will not be replacing with a Bailey!
