Suspicious Billing Activities
I’m extremely frustrated with this situation. I moved out since May and as at today 17/10/2024 I have been informed that I was sent an incorrect bill despite submitting all my meter readings at the end of each month, and not missing a payment. The first bill I received in August included a water charge of £473, which exceeded my yearly allowance—despite the fact I never exceeded my electric and gas allowances. I raised a complaint, and the bill was reviewed in September and adjusted to £306. While I felt this was unfair, I let it go. I was also told I would receive my refund within 10 days, yet it’s now almost a month, and I still haven’t received it. Now the company is claiming I was underbilled. This is completely unacceptable and absurd.

The Bunch took £700+ for bills we didn't owe!
Months after finalising bills and moving out, we 5 roommates have been charged upwards of £700 each on erroneous bills. One of the entries on the invoice is electricity for 1 day, 4 months after leaving the flat for almost £2,000! Waiting on the phone for half an hour to hold music before finally getting ahold of someone via chat functionality. All that person could say was, Here's the bill. I asked to speak someone who could reverse the charges – they've taken the money! – and was told it may take them time to get back to me.
