When I called to ask a plumber to install a new tap I was informed it was a £42 call out fee and the plumber might be able to fix it then. I fortunately bought a new tap for him to replace the corroded one. In less than 20 minutes he had replaced the new tap. He gave me a bill for nearly £200. Apparently the company charge £250 an hour I wasn’t told this. After he left we found the a pipe was leaking and another plumber came a fixed it very quickly. I didn’t sign a cancellation form before the job was done. I didn’t even know how much it was going to cost until he finished the job and got me to sign several times. Why doesn’t the company give the hourly rate at the same time as the call out fee?

Far too many promises of 'will be there tomorrow afternoon' Then cancelled, not the operators fault but could be the system. The man (I think his name is Brian) when he did eventually arrive? No complaints about him, he was friendly, efficient and dealt with the problem quickly.

The engineer came out promptly. He phoned in advance to tell us what time he would be arriving. He fixed our problem and left everything tidy after he’d finished. We were pleased with the service.
