They missed the first appointment and charges were very high.

They missed the first appointment but turned up the day after. The engineer was fine, quite capable and he diagnosed and repaired the boiler proficiently. The repair consisted of the replacement of a plastic component within the boiler that had started leaking and it took about two hours. Work done seemed to a quite acceptable standard. The downside was the bill which for the parts and labour seemed very high at approaching £700 but when your boiler is leaking everywhere you're not really in a position to argue. I think if there's a next time I'll try shopping around a bit more.

Drain Check

Engineer turned up on time. Carried out the inspection and gave me a full verbal description of the drain layout and condition. He also gave me a plan of the drain layout.

I needed a new shower

I needed a new shower. I phoned M.J.Harris. I got a plumber to look at the problem the next day. It was fitted the day after quickly and efficiently.Plumber could not have been more helpful. No mess.All rubbish taken away. I am extremely pleased.I would certainly use them again.

The work was well done. But I was unhappy with them imposing a call-out charge for a subsequent visit to investigate a problem caused by their original work.

Punctual service

Punctual service, offered an appointment on same day. Friendly plumber, explained everything before carrying out a good job in a timely manner. Fully satisfied. I now have a reliable plumbing service I can call in future!

Poor. Left and had to call back as appliance…

Left and had to call back as appliance not working and later a leak. Failed to fix a problem which another plumber sorted easily.
