amazing! fast and reliable

Returned an order which was confirmed delivered back with them on Monday 16/09/19 so over two weeks ago (posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery). John asked me to include the order invoice in with the return and this was done so. Emailed on the Thursday asking why the refund hadn't been processed and didn't get a reply until I sent a number of follow up emails - I have now emailed them (John) around 30 times and had around 6-7 vague replies but still NO REFUND or confirmation it's even being processed. Very unprofessional! Also goods were delivered 2 days later than promised originally so didn't arrive in time for my shoot. Hopefully refund will be sorted very shortly. Will update this review as soon as this is done! Update a refund was processed but I had to send around 50 emails hassling and call them up numerous times so this review still stands. They also withdrew funds from PayPal balance before returning as to delay the refund even more so they could process as an e-cheque. So again STAY CLEAR - BUY ELSEWHERE!

They offered a good deal on a Manfrotto tripod that we needed quickly for a job; faster 2 day delivery was paid for and it took 5 working days (7 if you include the weekend) to arrive, so this was a problem for us. I'd also phoned the guy and he said he'd make sure it got dispatched without delay.

I ordered a rig that I needed for a shoot in 7 working days time and it said 2-3 days on the description. After 5 days I contacted HPreston for an update John just kept saying, I'll update you later but he never did on three occasions, John then said he forgot to post it and do I want a refund. He issued a refund which failed to go through after 3 days, after questioning this he then said he would pay it that day, but didn't. I eventually got my money back nearly three weeks later. I'm not one to complain, but the service was so bad I felt I needed to.

I have used H Preston for nearly 20 years, and would always choose them before looking anywhere else.. I have always found them helpful, friendly and excellent value for money. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and I’m currently updating my equipment and have found them more than generous in there trading allowance. I thoroughly recommend them for all your Video/Audio needs

I was hesitant to use a company I had not used before, but price was good and it was in stock. Placed the order and I was a bit nervous after reading some negative reviews, but I have to be honest and say that the company did me proud. They kept me informed of delivery status and it arrived the day after i ordered it just as promised.

Having a difficult experience with this supplier, shop elsewhere or use PayPal. Issue is still ongoing and not refunded as of 24 SEP 2019 (purchase 21 AUG 2019, over 1 month). Please use PayPal or similar when buying online from this seller. Ordered a cinema camera online 21 Aug listed as 'in stock'. Then received an update stating the camera was not in stock, but would be delivered Weds next week. Over the following weeks, despite on / off email communication, the camera never arrived despite promises. They mentioned it had shipped but could supply no tracking despite repeated requests. A dispute was raised via PayPal Sep 10th and the seller cancelled and refunded the order next day. However, the refund did not complete due to insufficient funds in the sellers account or was cancelled directly. After some more nudging the seller started a 2nd refund which also did not complete. Have now had to escalate with PayPal although the seller is communicating but how many times do you let someone break their promises? Have lost count now. Shop elsewhere. The seller did communicate but only after prompting. Possibly just one of those things but please, please use PayPal or similar if buying online from this merchant. My advice is to avoid. Hello Everyone, Placed an order recently with H Preston because a camera I was buying stated clearly on their website IN STOCK. After the order placed I asked if the camera was in stock, they kept repeating no we will advice tomorrow. They apologised for the website ERROR but after more than two weeks the camera still states on their website IN STOCK. Please people do not buy from this seller, their customer service is awful, never reply to emails and have a phone number just for show, called them so many times they never picked up. They never update their website when they don't have in stock equipment so you buy from them, amazing business idea to place order and get money from you. This is not a fake review, its all true and I can provide with receipts.

I found H.Preston after being disappointed by a large retailers refusal to check on stock at their supplier before I would put any money down. John at H.Preston was only too happy to handle my request and gave me a delivery date which was honoured. Also a better price and a free bag. Great personal service and very happy with my experience.
