We seldom purchase anything this expensive via the internet. Given this, we are very pleased with the process so far. The live voice contact has been especially good. My questions were answered without long delays waiting for a call back. If the product is delivered on time, this complete experience will be excellent.
Excellent Customer Service
I had a very good pre-order, ordering and post-order experience as I chatted with them at least 5 times. My only complaints are minor in that the 2 colors of fire glass were not pre-mixed as requested and the wrong instructions were included for the H-burner (I found the correct ones online). In general, they were very friendly and customer-oriented and I would not hestiate ordering from them again or recommending them to friends and family.
Still waiting on delivery schedule for my Fire Pit order.
I called Starfire Direct on Friday, March 6, to find out when the fire pit I ordered on Feb 21st would be shipped and the customer rep could not tell me. He said he would have to contact the manufacturer and then he would email mail me with the shipment schedule but has yet to do so. My order ID # is 27089, the Product ID is 906-SALE for one (l) Morrison Fire Pit. I paid for the item via credit card and received confirmation of my on line order on February 21, 2015. I would appreciate getting a shipping date, the freight line and a tracking number of the shipment. Thanks.

Al & Fran, Trabuco Canyon, CA Starfire Direct’s website is what made us decide to change from a ceramic log fireplace to one with fire glass. Easy to navigate through, very informative, the video is excellent. I had the pleasure of working with Erik Howington at Starfire Direct in Murrieta, CA. Erik answered all our questions; he advised that we needed to purchase an H-Burner. Because of the large selection of fire glass I was unsure of what color/colors I wanted. Erik suggested that I pick a few colors and he would include some samples with the H-Burner. He emailed the order confirmation and tracking number within the hour of the order being placed. Scheduled arrival a couple days, it arrived the next day. The glass was beautiful, still not sure of the color. My husband and I decided it would be worth the hour and twenty minute drive to Murrieta. Erik’s warm welcome made us feel as ease and for the next hour plus he illuminated the colors I would select by putting an actual flame beneath the fire glass. His willingness to make sure that his customer left there satisfied! Platinum Reflective and Bronze (1/2”) GORGEOUS!! We will definitely recommend Starfire Direct to anyone, GREAT COMPANY, AWESOME PRODUCTS! P.S. I will be sending you an email with photo attachments in case you wanted them for the website.

Have only begun my journey from a gas log fireplace to one of glass. This group has been so helpful and stopped me from making a disaster. Have received the glass samples so once my plumbing work is completed, will order my burner & glass to get it done. They're the BEST!

Great Product, Superb Customer Service
OK, so we were a bit nervous about buying a $700 fire pit online rather than at a big box store where we could "test drive" the beast first. The Agio Haywood model we found on sale at Starfire Direct looked good, but we had questions. That led us to Kim Woodson, a Starfire Direct customer service representative, who answered all of our questions and put our minds at ease. So we took the plunge and bought the unit on Feb. 12. The unit is delivered by semi-truck so delivery can be delayed because of weather, but ours arrived on Feb. 20 as promised. It was solidly packaged with ample padding for the components. The delivery driver stood by while we inspected the contents for damage (everything was fine) and he left. We then set about assembling it. Assembly is best done with two people - it's much easier that way. Our only gripe came when we could not find the assembly instructions and parts. Back on the phone to Starfire Direct customer service where Erik Howington contacted the manufacturer and had them expedite sending a new set of instructions and parts. Two hours later, as we were cutting up the box for recycling, we found the instructions and parts sandwiched between the inner bottom of the box and its outer shell. Not the most optimal place for the manufacturer to put them as the box is so substantial you do not immediately realize it has a "false bottom." Went back to the computer to tell Erik to cancel the request for the instructions and parts, but he had already sent them! Now that's service! Assembly was easy. Do as they say in the instructions and only hand tighten the screws at first, otherwise you'll be loosening them later. The unit is solid and not at all flimsy. Most importantly, it works perfectly. We are very happy with our experience with Starfire Direct.
