Lose your money and no refund available

Purchased a pair of shoes through Catch.com.au. when the shoes arrived they didn't fit, were too big and too wide. I Initiated a refund only to be told that this is considered a 'change of mind' and am not entitled to a refund, only a store credit. Essentially this organisation takes your money and you cannot get it back and are forced to accept a store credit so basically you lose your money when you purchase from them. Do not trust this scam site you will lose your money. They also expect you to pay $10.95 to return items to their them for a store credit. Further adding to the financial loss incurred.

DELIVERY IS TERRIBLE

They might have some decent prices but that's not much help when the freight company they use are the worst in Australia. First time they said they were coming, apparently I wasn't home but got no notification that they'd been or when they would come back. Second time they said they were coming I waited for most of the day and they didn't show. There are way too many online shopping companies selling the same products to put up with this rubbish. Bye bye catch

No communication, no items arriving, no explanation.

Essentially they wasted my time and stole my money for 2 weeks. My items weren't arriving and the tracking page was misleading me by making it seem like things were moving. I contacted support a week after the EXPRESS shipping date had passed, and Catch refunded the items with no explanation as to why they were no longer coming. They just said they 'couldn't be fulfilled'. Why did it take until I complained for them to realise this? I'm appalled with my experience. Watch them comment 'Hey there, we're truly sorry to hear about your frustrating experience blah blah blah' below. I don't want your apology, I want you to DO BETTER. You are clearly not listening to your customers having terrible experiences and not making any efforts to change your dodgy business practises.

Cheap but good

The items I purchased were a pair of hike poles - they came exactly as described - they were well packaged and arrived earlier than expected, in good order - would recommend to others

The Dodgy company of the year award

First and last time I am ordering from catch.com.au. Order placed on 21 June and since then a number of calls to catch to say I have not received item and that always end the same way - a spiel about waiting for seller to contact me! What a joke. My comments are: I paid for item through PayPal to catch, they received my money hence they are responsible for it and should refund it when I request it. They keep putting onus on seller. Not good enough- money went into your account catch!!! My next step is to contact PayPal and Consumer Affairs to lodge a complaint against catch. Will also write to the Guardian to see if they are interested in doing an investigative story on this shonky mob! Anyone want to join me?
