Apart from a few hiccups during the booking process, which was finally sorted out in an extremely professional manner by Subhajyoti M, who should receive a customer service award, everything else was handled well. We were due a refund because of the booking mix-up and this was handled and processed quickly as well. We were told it would be between 4 to 6 weeks for the refund but the money was in our account even before we returned from our holiday, which was from the 5th to the 14th of Feb.

Unfortunately, I fell victim to a fraudulent transaction with this air ticket company. *Details of my experience:* - *Date of incident:* 22 jan 2025 bookable ticket 28/1/25 WTUDLA - i call on 24 /1/25 to change the dates and request to cancel on 28 jan 2025 they said to me they book another dates after 24 jan 2025 I m still call to Gaura Travel they put my call on hold and take money 1771.86 from my account *Warning to others:* I would advise caution when dealing with Gaura Travel. Make sure to thoroughly research and verify the authenticity of their services before making any transactions

The clients' personal information was…

The clients' personal information was compromised by this company. They sell tickets in bulk, so after I updated the email address in the passenger details, I started receiving emails from them about other passengers who had the same reference number. One of my relatives purchased tickets from them. I may obtain the other passengers' personal data (including names, dates of birth, phone numbers, etc.) from those emails. They told me they had no idea about this when I called them. Please stay away from folks like these. If that information ends up in the wrong hands, you could lose far more than the few hundred bucks you saved.

⛔️⛔️⛔️ I booked tickets vide (Booking ID: #228306). Again and again I was insisted by Harjinder to pay the booking amount and later can get changes done while making the balance payment. Accordingly I made payment. In next 2 days when I wanted to pay my balance amount, I was told that the same can not be done as we do not accept indian credit cards. ⛔️⛔️⛔️WHY- YOU CHEATS - WHY DID NOT DISCLOSE THAT TIME. THESE GUYS ARE PLAYING A BIG SCAM WITH THE BOOKING AMOUNT OPENLY. LETS ALL RAISE THIS ISSUE WITH THE AUSTRALIAN AND INDIAN AUTHORITIES BEFORE THEY CHEAT MORE PEOPLE.

FRAUD and SCAMMER

I initially paid a booking amount and subsequently deposited the remaining amount of $559.00 in full and on time. Despite my adherence to your payment terms and providing proof of the transfer, the ticket was cancelled without prior notification. Upon contacting your office on 15/12/2024, I was informed that the payment of $559.00 had not been received. This claim contradicted my records, and I had to file a complaint with my bank and repeatedly follow up with your team to verify the status of the payment. Initially, the representatives denied receipt of the $559.00. I have lodged the complaints against them. I request all the affected customers effected to please lodge the complaints to Consumer affairs Victoria, Victoria ombudsman, Business Victoria and ASIC so that this agency is penalised and asked to stop cheating the innocent people asap.

This Gaura travels is a scam company . These guys are scamming all the Australian citizens . they take your money and then at the end they say that your tickets got cancelled even when they got the full payment . I will try to take this company to court . These guys took buy money and now I have to pay double the charge for my tickets . Australia should ban this company .

I had a horrible experience with Gaura…

I had a horrible experience with Gaura Travels while booking my tickets. They initially misled me about the luggage allowance, and when I received my ticket, the baggage capacity was completely different from what I was promised. When I contacted customer care for clarification, I was met with rude and unhelpful behavior. The agent I spoke to kept repeating the same thing over and over without actually addressing my concerns. Despite requesting multiple times to speak with a supervisor or someone knowledgeable, they flat-out refused. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially when dealing with something as important as international travel. Gaura Travels clearly lacks professionalism and proper customer support. I will never book with them again, and I strongly advise others to avoid this agency unless you want to be misled and treated poorly.

We are extremely disappointed with the…

We are extremely disappointed with the unprofessional service provided by Gaura Travel. We booked our family tickets six months ago, expecting a smooth and stress-free experience. However, just three days before our flight, we discovered that our seats were scattered in different locations, completely disrupting our family travel plans. When we approached Gaura Travel, they told us it was our responsibility to check the seat assignments or we can request at airport to get the seats together. This is unacceptable. If seat allocation wasn’t guaranteed, it should have been communicated clearly at the time of booking. Instead, we were left scrambling at the last minute to resolve an issue that should never have occurred. This experience has been frustrating and has caused unnecessary stress. I would not recommend Gaura Travel to anyone seeking reliable and professional travel services.

After full payment they cancelled tickets and give you options to buy expensive or long stay if you don’t choosing option then they don’t refund they need exposure by current affairs we are taking legal advise and we are challenging them in court and complaining to ATAS

Just terrible- stay away

I generally don't leave negative feedback, but this has to be reported. I booked a flight for my wife and daughter on one of their "special" fares. A few days before departure, I found out that, since these special fares are purchased in bulk by the agent, you have no access to anything. Seats are auto-allocated, and guess what? My 11-year-old has been seated separately. I called their call center. The first agent, with terrible communication skills, had no idea what he was doing, panicked, and hung up. I called again, and the second agent, "Jay," was of absolutely no help. He basically said, there is nothing he can do at his end and we would need to speak to the counter staff at airport check in. At the time of booking, no one mentioned the actual T&Cs/restrictions of booking this special fare. I called Singapore Airlines directly and got it sorted.
