Expert in lying sold us the tickets under false pretenses and diddled us out of our proper baggage allowances when requested to rectify they flatly refused, esp the complaints manager Supriya Thakur who has been super arrogant and customer service staff, Sachin Jha and Pradip ,asked for a refund and was told that it will take months .!@##$$%%$
Cheats lacking transparency
They don't reveal the full details and withhold the information. When I booked the tickets, I was told the ticket was fully refundable and the amount I paid was the same as on the website of the airline which was also fully refundable. I had to cancel the ticket, no one were able to provide any information and I was told to go through a process of registering online and requesting a refund. In all my booking with the airlines, there is always details on the cancellation charges, date changes etc. These people don't reveal the information and they charge the amount as they wish. Never ever book with these cheats. They are doing a disservice to the community and I hope they are caught soon. Having read others feedback, I wonder how they still exist (by cheating poor customers).

Worst experience. Please do not book with Gaura Travels!! You need to follow up 100 times to get your e-ticket and you won't get the seat you request for. It is a pre allocated seat and airlines don't have control on it. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH GAURA TRAVLES!!

It's very shocking and shameful act the service is poor they don't want to issue ticket even taking full payment finally when got it found wrong title in name They were asking money on the name of corrections which were looks like purposely left ignored by customer representatives male and female name are very easy to recognise in indian community.its totally rip off misleading I reckon never take their services in future Rather online ticketing sites are fare and cheaper. Very bad experience.

Gaura Travel agents are misleading people when its time to make reservations, then they have no answers to the question asked. using terms like 'maybe' 'try this' are not the proper answers.
Not returned any money for canceled tickets.
Paid money for tickets but I had to cancel flights even before we received the airline tickets. Agreed to pay the cancelation fee. I was told the money will return to my account in 8 weeks. It’s been now 8 months and not even a single penny is returned. I had contacted Gaura Travels multiple times and all the time I am told that they are requesting the airline to return it as urgent. Gaura travel is looting its customers. They took 4000 of me and yet not returned!!!

SCAMMER GIVE MISLEADING INFORMATION Do not Recommend to any one. Booked Airline ticket through Gaura Travel on Sunday 28th of May From Melbourne to Ahmedabad . Agent Name Aryan call me on Sunday 28/5 He find whatever first deal he advice Air India has the best deal for you from Melbourne to Ahmedabad via Delhi. Prior to booking asked about Air India. I was concern because I am travelling alone with my two Kids. Me and my spouse continue asked him about Air India flight Do I have to do self check in with all luggage as Delhi is the Domestic Airport ? He Replied me no Mam, " when you departure from Melbourne during check in just inform the staff you want to receive your luggage direct at Ahmedabad Airport. After asking same questions serval times his Reply was same. So, I believe on his wording and Decided to book my ticket. He asked me 5% from credit card and Rest of balance I have to transfer using B Pay or BSB within an hour otherwise I loose my ticket and my 5% Balance too. which was really strange and suspicious but I thought that's okay. Neither he explain me any company policy of cancellation charge or anything. I received My ticket on Monday. In My Surprise I was discussing same afternoon My with my friend and I Find out that Air India has the rules we have to do full check in with luggage at Delhi Airport. My safe side I called Air India to find it out which makes me completely shatter. they advice me we have to do self check in with luggage at Delhi Airport. she explain me an hour and half is not enough time for me to check in. I explained her everything she said if you cancelled your ticket within 24hour we will do full refund and you will receive that in 21 days in your account..so I asked them they advice go to your travel agent because it is booked by third party so we can not refund you direct. They said your agent mislead you and give you false information. asked them to change your flight or refund you. As per Air India Advice, I called their 24/7 service Team. straight after They said we don't have any knowledge regarding change airline or refund go to the Gaura Travel portal and ask them to solve your query they will answer you back within half an hour but this is all crap no one replied. I called serval time then finally I received call Monday night from one of the staff I explained her all situation and my concern request her to change my air line due to I was mislead by your Team, she advice me We can not change your airline if you wish cancelled the existing booking and go for new booking with us. so, I asked her are you gonna do that from my same fund. in my surprise she said will receive your refund after 6months not guarantee. if you wish you can pay 5% now book another flight with us. This is FRAUD. I Explain her Airline Rules She told me this is not My department. Advice Me go to the portal and select the complain department they are available 24/7 they will answer you within an hour time Frame which is Completely LIE. I did not received any call. next morning, I called again serval times to customer care so many time every time different agent answered and replied we understand your concern but we don't anyone available from support team. I asked them to transfer to complaint department or Aryan Who originally Mislead me and booked My ticket. Finally Aryan called me back on Tuesday .I asked him why did you mislead me regarding Airport check in rules. still his reply was Same no Mam " when you departure from Melbourne during check in just inform the staff you want to receive your luggage direct at Ahmedabad Airport." ridicules I said I checked with Air India Body. Asked agent to transfer who ever at Customer care department holding call for an hour no reply. After so long I received call from complain department agent Supriya I explained her everything. She told me she said give me some time I will investigate and come with some resolution. Guess what she replied same information which Air India customer care already provide me and covering up agent he gave me all information about cancellation charge and everything. Also, she said I will provide you all recording if you wish. In reply I Requested for recording. Did not heard back anything until I called next day to 24/7. Agent call back me and asking me what was your complain ????means she was not interested to listen me day before. I Repeated everything again your agent Mislead me regarding Airline check in rules which was my concern before booking ticket. If he explain me everything I would look for another option. I told her to refund my 100% as mislead the consumer that is breach of contract. I need my Refund. Agent told me she will get back an hour time. still while I am writing this review not received any reply. I will go to further ATAS.

Pathetic services. For the first time I tried to use the services of 'GAURA TRAVELS or for that matter a travel agent, as I normally book my own tickets online. I got the recommendation from my friends that they have the best prices. They didn't give me any extraordinary prices but just matched the price with the online price as they were quoting me a higher price than what I was getting online. I was asked for a 5% deposit to create the booking. Once I did the same I was asked to pay the balance amount. I transferred the balance amount immediately and sent the proof of payment to the email id given to me by the agent. Very next day the agent calls me and tells me that they have not received the amount nor they have received the email with the proof of payment. I immediately forwarded him the same email along with other proof of payment that is the email received from the bank itself stating that the payment has been submitted. The agent confirmed receiving the email but said payment has not been received. I told him that the normal transaction period of any bank is 2-3 business days to reflect the payment. He then said that as the payment has not been received they cannot hold the booking with airlines and they have cancelled the booking. He then told me to pay another 5% of the amount to create another booking, which will be refunded. I refused to pay another 5% as I had already paid them the 100% amount. I asked him to process the refund for the amount as this is not the service which was expected from them. He told me a process to follow for the refund by filling up the refund form online, which I did. The very next day I received a message from the refund team stating that "Please note that we are sending your details to the relevant team to further check regarding your refund request. Please be informed that as the booking was cancelled before the balance amount was credited, the refund will be only done for the balance amount as the initial deposit amount was already utilised to create the booking. However, note that the refund of any liable amount may take up to 6 - 8 weeks to get processed." They cannot hold the booking for the customer for 2-3 days but will refund the amount in 6-8 weeks. If the amount is not credited in their account in 24hrs they will cancel the booking and will ask for more money to create and hold the booking. After that they will also not refund the 100% amount as the booking was cancelled before they received the amount, whereas actually the booking was not cancelled by the customer but by them or their airline only. What is the use of this kind of agent who doesn't have that kind of relationship with the operators, who can hold the bookings for their customers (in this case the travel agent is the customer of the airlines)? What these agents are getting commissions for? Giving this kind of customer service? After providing all the proof of payment also they were not able to give any solution until and unless I pay them another 5% of the amount to create another booking? To my surprise, after this I received the call from the sales team stating that your e-ticket has been issued as we have received the amount. I just asked them if the booking was cancelled yesterday itself by the airlines then how come they have issued the ticket today? The agent didn't have any explanation for my question, he only said that I just gave you the information that I received yesterday. I clearly told them that I have already got my ticket booked from somewhere else and I need a 100% refund. While I am writing this review, I have still not received any other reply to my message which I had written to them on the above message received.
Worst after sales service.
Sales and marketing team would sell you the product but after sales support for tickets and booking is the worst. Cancellation fee and date change fee are way too high. Response from agents are unacceptable and they are not well trained.
