Working with New Build Inspections was an excellent experience, from scheduling, payment and the inspection itself. Our surveyor Martyn, was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. His inspection was on a Friday afternoon and on the Monday morning his comprehensive report was in my inbox. Very impressive!

After purchasing a new build property it was highly recommended to get a snagging survey done. After researching various companies who offer a snagging services, it was decided to go with New Build Inspections (NBI). By using NBI the service received was 5 star. Martyn, Lorraine and Rachel performed their duties to a very high level that meet my expectations. Martyn with his years of building experience in the trade performed the snagging inspection and followed this up a detailed snagging report which was handed to the developers to rectify. Martyn also provided very valuable advice on how to protect yourself in situations where you have an architect certificate (covers major structural defects only) by recommending a snagging clause to be inserted in the contract in situations where minor defects come to light after you move in (post snagging survey) in which the developer has to rectify. Bear in mind that this advice was not part of the snagging service but Martyn did go over an beyond his remit to provide the best advice to his client. I will highly recommend NBI for your snagging services for new build properties. It will be the best investment you make in protecting your new build property.

I found the service from New Build Inspections invaluable. A new house is a mixture of basic building techniques and sophisticated technology. To expect ordinary customers to know when something is wrong with a new house build is very unrealistic, and potentially very expensive. House buyers need professional knowledge on their side. It more than pays for itself.

This review was conducted professionally and gave us peace of mind when our son bought a new house, that there were no serious concerns. The inspector identified quite a few minor issues and a few mores significant problems that we wouldn't have picked up. The report goes to the builders so they take more notice of these improvements, as they were written by an independent inspector. Well worth the money when you are buying an expensive house.
