Huge disappointment

So like so many other reviews I’m reading mine is no different! paid fully for a floor with no dates that could be given to me so after a long time of trying to get through to the company (many weeks of calls, emails and Facebook messaging) I cancelled. Bare in mind to cancel you have to call them which again another lengthy process!!! I asked for a refund and they took back they’re £60 cancellation fee, was not apologetic just couldn’t wait to get me off the phone. Although they say up to 30 days I also read it’s usually after 14 days you start to see payments. I don’t see any payments and have spoken to my bank and nor do they see any payments in my bank or pending! I’m waiting got for a £700 refund! Ive read the reviews and the companies responses. And it’s truly shocking. It’s clearly a massive problem and your customers deserve some decency by being informed of current status of refunds or deliveries. Anyone who is still struggling I’d suggest ombudsman services. I’ve just looked into it and if I don’t have my refund with the time they state I will definitely be taking further action as they would if you didn’t keep up payments!

Useless and unsympathetic

Edit—- have waited the 4-6 weeks for an update, have tried emailing, messaging on Facebook and calling to no avail. Am I out of pocket?? 😭😭😭Been waiting since June for a sofa and only communication I’ve had has been me chasing them. Still no date or rough idea of how long delivery will be, a 2 hour wait to speak to someone that sounded as though she was reading from a sheet. Completely unsympathetic and provided no answers other than another 4/6 week wait just to find out a *possible* date. Oh but as a way of apology they’ll supposedly be issuing me with a discount. Thanks. Bet that doesn’t happen either

WAITING SINCE JUNE

So far, I am not impressed with this service. I have been paying for my sofa since June, I made the normal ‘15 instalments before delivery’ and then went on for another 2/3 week without hearing when I’m getting my sofa. All I was told is they haven’t had any deliveries yet from the manufactur. I tried to phone last week and was sat in the queue for 30 minutes and didn’t even move from position 17. I am now running out of patience as a 24 year old with a 1 year old baby sitting on a broken sofa STILL waiting to hear where my new one is. If I don’t get a call in the next 24 hours with an update I will be taking further action. I can see I’m not the only person this is happening to.

Mypayweekly

I ordered carpets got signed up on the 13/05/21 made my first payment of £40 on that day. Agreed a monthly payment of £40. Made an additional deposit of £198 or could have been £200 as l wanted my carpets fitted. This was June arranged a date I cancelled as l could not be at home on that date. Continued to make payments. Arranged another date 9 September . Really excited a voice note was left in the afternoon to say they could not honour my fitting. I had already taken the day off work . So l decided to cancel altogether. Told I would have to pay a fee of £60 plus wait up 30 days for a refund no problem as l was really upset. The refund of £120 pounds only arrived yesterday . No one will answer the phone being booted out as l become the next caller email address keeps coming back as incomplete. I need my Money please l need an explanation. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Please advise me

£60 cancellation fee !!

£60 cancellation fee !! £60 cancellation fee !!! Even when I have not received the goods, I cancelled because they couldn’t give me a time scale on when my products would be delivered and I was charged £60 for cancelling what a disgrace , you ask to speak to a manager and they tell you the wait is 2 days. Don’t deal with thees’e cowboys you’ll only be let down And also takes 30 days apparently for a refund after they’ve robbed you for £60

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Edit** as I said my pay weekly, still waiting for a manager to contact me about my refund. That was meant to happen by Friday last week. I see you took it upon yoursleves to start refunding me however you have retained more than the £60 which is strange. If you check your own terms and conditions you refer to it does say that in the case of lengthy delays customers will be refunded. It seems you are just chosing not to or maybe you don't think that being 6 weeks without flooring with young children is a lengthy time?? I await a direct call to discuss further, I shouldn't have to air my problems publicly to force a half baked response!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! I have used this company before for blinds and was very happy with the service but everything seems to have turned into a complete shambles. My carpet was due to be fitted on 14th September. I spent the weekend ripping up the old carpet and disposing of it and decorating the room ready for the fitting. Less than 24 hours before the fitting I had a call to say they have stock issues and my carpet couldn't be fitted and they couldn't give me a new fitting date as they didn't know when they would have stock. I have 2 young children and being indefinitely without flooring on concrete floors was not an option so I had to purchase elsewhere. Cue a week of trying to get hold of someone, endless telephone queues that never go down, messenger messages that take 24 hours for a one line reply and emails unanswered I finally got a phone call. Only to be informed I could cancel but they would keep £60 of the money I had paid due to me cancelling. I'm still waiting for a call back from the manager to express my disgust at the way that customers are being treated. Failure to supply the goods with less than 24hrs notice and not even a date when they can supply, in my opinion, means they have breached their contract and any other company worth it's salts would refund customers in full. Don't touch them with a barge pole!

Absolute shambles!!!

Absolute shambles!!! Paid a big deposit for a sofa and paying the money fortnightly, was told I would have my sofa in 4 to 6 weeks. I have £465 sitting in their account. Rang them at 4 weeks to ask for an update as I'm without a sofa. Left on hold for 2hrs number 22 in the queue and suddenly answered without moving down the queue. I was told they know nothing about delivery and I would be notified from the manufacturer. Ok, I waited another 2 weeks. In the meantime they took 4 payments off me in 1 day. Luckily I was refunded 3 of the payments. Today is the end of the 6 weeks so I thought I'd ring them up (another 2hr wait constantly being told I'm number 7 in the queue) and ask where the sofa is. I was told there is now another 4 to 6 week wait and its out of their hands! I got very upset and asked for a full refund, they said there will be a £60 charge. I told them there is no way I'm getting charged £60 when it is not my fault I have to cancel. I can't possibly wait another 4-6weeks. Asked to speak to a manger, was told manager would say the same thing about £60... was put on hold again, only to be told there are no managers or supervisors in the office and they will have to call me back on Monday. Told the agent its not her fault but from what I've experienced and from the recent reviews it seems the company is an absolute shambles and looks like they're on a slippery downhill slope. As stated by others if I could leave less stars I would. Negative springs to mind. I will update on Monday ....there is no way I'm being charged £60!!!! Edit.... DO NOT LET THEM TAKE £60 FROM YOU IF YOU'RE CANCELLING BECAUSE OF THEIR ACTIONS!! Looking into their terms I found this 8.2 Ending the contract because of something we have done or are going to do . If you are ending a contract for a reason set out at (a) to (e) below the contract will end immediately and we will refund you in full for any products which have not been provided and you may also be entitled to compensation. The reasons are: (a) we have told you about an upcoming change to the product or these terms which you do not agree to; (b) we have told you about an error in the price or description of the product you have ordered and you do not wish to proceed; (c) there is a risk that supply of the products may be significantly delayed because of events outside our control; (d) we have suspended supply of the products for technical reasons, or notify you we are going to suspend them for technical reasons, in each case for a period of more than 3 Months; or (e) you have a legal right to end the contract because of something we have done wrong (including because we have delivered late (see clause 7.7). EDIT.... Just looking at the reply should tell you what type of company this is. Sorry that I feel aggrieved!!! Not sorry for what's happened ....hahaha It's there in black and white doesn't matter what it says further on in terms. The supply of my product is out of your control and I'm due a full refund... end of story!
